Yeah let's overrate appiah.
You overrate Tiago all the time...... Plus Appiah had a much better season under Lippi than Tiago did last season.

Appiah is a presence in the midfield and although his passing is not as sharp as Tiago's, he is still the better player. Not that I want him now......

Wrong dude, I'm not saying appiah is a bad player, he's just not what we need right now period. Yes I tend to defend tiago a lot, however I do not overrate him, you're the one who underrates him.

It's a shame he never settled in. He's a good player when in form and all, but I guess this just isn't his place. He never seemed happy here. The best thing for him and the club is to sell him, but I understand if he doesn't want to go to Everton with all due respect.

Yeah let's overrate appiah.
I didn't say that he is a world class player or something like that. But he is maybe the best option to strengh our midfield now.

- He has played in Italy for many years and so he won't need time to settle in and he won't be a flop like Tiago.
- He was good with Juve the seasons he played here. He and Emerson were a very good pair for our midfield.
- He is free.
- He was very good in Fenerbahce and in Ghana (he was ghana's captain if i remember well and the best player alongside with Essien).
- He is more mature now and in a good age (27 i think).
- He is a player that can defend and can go forward whenever possible to pass the ball or shoot.
- The most important. He WANTS to play in Juve. Not like Stancovic that never told something like that. He was happy here, he played well, we sold him although he didn't want to go and now he wants to come back.

He is not some world class player but he is a player that has played in Italy and will help us immediately.

We need defenders, I don't see why some users want yet another DM.

A trequartista?

I'm kidding, but seriously we need defenders, our mid is settled.
I agree that we need some defenders but if tiago leaves we need another midfielder, Zanetti and Marchisio are injury prone and Ekdal is still unproven.
exactly...

we need defenders, but with tiago and almiron gone away we will need someone else in the midfield...

Appiah is exactly the player that Ranieri wants. Someone that xan defend but can also help and the wingers and the forwards with his passes and his speed. Imagine Appiah and Sissoko together, this will be wonderfull.

i dnt know...there is something inside me that says tiago can make it..he can be a pleasent surprise is given the chance..lets face it..tiago never had the support from the board nor ranieri..he was always benched when noceriono was favored for him..now i know if tiago was given the chance to start instead of noceriono in some games he would have done well..but his confidence and morale were really down that time...he could do something..and personally i hope he stays and proves us all wrong..and for the appiah part..gimme a break..he had 2 awful years at juve..he flopped more than tiago did but the difference was appiah still played and tiago was benched..we dont appiah..and appiah aint a cm hes a dm!! he only played 3 good games for us in his 2 year spell!!...so what we need to do is not get appiah and TRY to get a defender...and keep tiago and let him TRY to show his worth until jan!!...
