His shirt is included to be sold in the store. Then Another transfer news for him. Nobody actually know what happen other than who inside the club
By not including hm in the last few preseason games i think it tells us that the club sure wanted to find a solution to move him on and are likely still leaning in that direction, with the player also reportedly wanting a move away to get more playing time, just couldn’t yet find anyone that is seriously interested so are probably also considering keeping him around if needed be, but with the mercatto still open everything can change in an instance.

I don't think it's lack of interest in teams wanting to loan him. There will be.

I think we changing our mind possibly because of the failure on Todibo deal.

No doubt there was/is interest, but not by teams that can actually afford his salary and that wouldn’t require us to still cover for half of it while on loan, with his injury history not many serious teams are willing to bet on offering him a starting role that easily.

Guranteed starting role is another thing. But I don't recall any mention of Djalo having high salary that's an obstacle? Been murmur of Genoa couple months ago and Porto past weeks. Mainly just talk of dry loan (or including him in Galeno deal), and him needing playtime to recover his past levels.

I think he earns close to €2m or so, which is a bit much for bottom half of the table teams that are likely the only ones that can guarantee him minutes and continuity on a dry loan.

Anyway, i always assumed that we’d be keeping him around for this season but the last few weeks seem to indicate something else, and i wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the player himself pushing more towards an exit as he wants to get regular playing time after such a long injury.

So, we bougth an injured player in january, that had 6 months in his contract left.. he played only 16 minutos in the season, we now recover him from injury and now we will have to sell him, probably for peanuts

Giuntoli did mess up on this one...

We should be able to get what we paid for him though. He has a long contract and a low salary.
