i want Latvia to qualify :eyepatch: and holland too, and russia

no! i want latvia to go to hell. they are already making fun of lithuanians because they became better than us recently. 5 years ago lithuania would used beat the crapout of them easily. today... other way around... no, latvia does not belong in there..

and i want scotland and and wales go though...

it'd be really weird in euro 2004 if both turkey and netherlands or one of them does not qualify for it.

the world cup was such a bore without holland i could just cry. i hope the same wouldn't happen in euro (with all due respect to scotland and latvia)

Van der Mayde might be out of the dutch squad on wednesday´s 2nd leg. PSV Eindhoven's Wilfred Bouma and Arjen Robben were added to the dutch squad , with Bouma expected to replace Jaap Stam who is suspended.

Giggs is being reviewed for a claim that he elbowed a Russian during the game.

Russia regular goalkeeper Vyacheslav Malafeev will not be fit and niether replacement keeper ever played a senior international.

Mihails Zemlinskis and Dzintars Zirnis are back from suspensions so they will join the Lativian squad, however Valentins Lobanevs has a suspension and Olegs Blagonadezdins has a groin injury. And coach Aleksandrs Starkovs dropped Vladimirs Kolesnicenko from his squad (for what reason I DONT KNOW)

Turkey might be with key striker Hakan Sükür but lost to SUSPENSIONS Emre Asik, Rüstü Reçber and Fatih Akyel.

Van der Meyde has just been declared fit to start for Holland on Wednesday.

The training suggests the YOUNGEST Dutch squad in decades to start against the Scots with Bouma, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Van der Meyde and Robben all most likely to start.

They say the same thing about portugal's golden age squad as well.

portugal's squad have every right to be called golden. thy won u21 or 20 wc, they trully shone in euro2000, they disappeared as any other big team in far east but i would consider them as one of the main contenders for european crown next year

They'll choke like they do in every tournament. Plus those players that shone in Euro 2000 are now all in their early 30's.

which is not a bad thing. i doubt they will win it but if italy's gonna play play like they usually do, i'd rate portugal above them.
i'd put my bets on france and czechs next year. and i'll probably spend some money at bookmaker's next summer.

Fli, Portugal has some major weaknesses in defense, and if Vitor Baia is in goal, you can add that to their list of problems as well.
