We don't need a calm or nice coach. Those might help if you have some players like ibra who punch the players if they don't behave. We don't have those kind of players.

Exact the same reason I don't want Del Piero as a coach or something. Rather have the likes of Conte who would actually raise their voice

rabiot played with motta at psg and allegedly motta was kind of a father figure for young rabiot. many suggested that rabiot would love a reunion here at jj. rabiot ran as far as he could for much less money and no cl

during his tenure here, motta alienated at least the following players: danilo, gatti, yildiz, vlahovic, cambiaso, and probably luiz too. not to mention chiesa, huijsen et al. the fact that he wasn't on good terms with giuntoli isn't too telling, toli is a dickhead himself. but the fact that besides mbamgula, nobody even said goodbye within 24 hours speaks volumes

motta might have some good tactical ideas. last season's bologna was a good team to watch and it was a proof of his basic competence. this season though showed his weakness as a flexible coach and a problem solver. he might be ready in a few years but now he was completely out of his depth, especially as a human being. losing almost a complete squad is quite the achievement
Imo I don’t think he probably alienated Luiz. He 100 percent did. Guy was fit and ready to go since day 1 and motta benched him. Never a good sign considering money paid.

And if we fail to make the 4th place, it will cost us a lot.

General question for everyone: If we win the Genoa game but drop points the game after that, will he be sacked immediately?
This is totally a metric to evaluate the current management. If we turn things around with Tudor now and see a change in player mentality I think they did the right thing by sacking Motta. If we dont see any change and still fail reach top 4 I think it would have obviously been a mistake to sack him at this point..

If this is true, what a prick. I mean even Yildiz knows he is no Messi but way to kill your players morale.
I personally don't think this is even the slightest bit harsh.

Professional players shouldn't have their egos wrapped in cotton wool. They aren't babys.

Our players like most modern players these days are pussys.

If a manager cant use constructive criticism without worrying about hurting his players feels then football is really dead.

I have yet to see or read any examples of Motta being good to anyone. This is the same guy that wanted to fight Buffon. I know it was years ago and in the middle of competition, but he really does seem like a genuine prick. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, a lot of coaches are pricks, but if you’re gonna be a prick you gotta also bring the best out of players. He didn’t do that at all. What a waste of time this was. Was so optimistic about the hire too.

If Tudor couldn't help us make the 4th place doesn't mean sacking Motta last week is a wrong decision. Continue with the Fraud when you know it's 100% failure is blind. At least the management woke up and TRIED to change the coach when they know the results are bad and the dressing room has unresolved issues. Nobody expects Tudor too much, given the very limited time he has. Motta has almost the whole season and it's just embarrassment as everyone (who has eyes) has witnessed. The players told that the last training session was surreal because Motta kept forcing the same shit that we played against PSV, Empoli, Atalanta, Fiorentina. If something didn't work out, try something else. Don't be stubborn.

Sky reporting Chiellini wants Mancini for next season. Does seem kind of weird though considering we could’ve just signed him straight away and not wasted 4 months with another coach. I also feel like Chiellini stated somewhere his best coach was Conte so idk if I believe the rumors.

I think it’s too early for anyone to know anything, but I really think bringing Conte in is more important than any signing we can make

He got good results at the beginning of season, but as time went on he became more and more confused, lacking a clear strategy and tactics. As matter of fact he failed miserably in both defense and attack phases and he continued with his style of football, instead of adapting to the players at his disposal.

There is nothing constructive in telling a young player "you are not legend x".
Constructive would be "you didn't manage this time , but you are going to next time ; keep working hard and you can potentially be like legend x in the future".
That's conatructive.

Bonucci is the biggest pussy we've ever had at the club. He literally had to hire an anti pussy coach because he was such a weak bitch

You're not Messi is not exactly constructive criticism though lol.
I'm sure Kenan has the brains to figure out what he meant by that.

Basically stop dribbling with your head down trying to beat every defender.

You all complained multiple times this season about his poor decision making and when he didn't release the ball quick enough.

Motta tries to correct him ( you know a coach is paid to coach right ?) but all of a sudden its a problem. Ive no love for Motta but this story is dumb.

This isn't football manager they work with each other every day and they can speak to each other on a human level. As I said the players don't need to be wrapped it cotton wool. Id be surprised if Kenan cried about this as much as you guys are.

he’s not trying to correct anything by telling him he’s not Messi, it’s just a condescending comment. Just another example of his shitty man management ”skills”
