Something broke between Motta and the team during the streak of draws. Before until the end of October they were ready to die for him, all of our players. Everything was positive even in the post match interviews you could feel they love their life under him. It all started with the treatment of Danilo and other senior members with looking players to blame for the tactics. I’m sad because I had so much hope until the game with Stuttgart.

Back to safe, defence first and pragmatic football again?

What about his other weakness? Tactical stubbornness and inability to read games or react to opposition manager substitutions.

I agree that too but when the players sacrifice for you along the way with experience you pick up those things. I don’t know that’s what I think that something happend during the streak of draws. I am no Motta fan but I think it’s obvious.

Shame it didn’t work out, but he’s lost the team, the fans and the higher ups.
Didn’t realise he’d be such an unlikeable, stale, arrogant personality to boot.
Back to year zero we go again.

So aimless pressing, Isn't that what we do anyway, just run, but in different places, press and then leave plenty of gaps for the opposition to score?

Exactly, there was an air of optimism, shame it got to this. I don't think he's a bad coach. He will do well and maybe might even use this experience all be a bitter one to learn. We just brought Motta in too early. We can't keep bringing in inexperienced managers and hope they'll do wonders like Conte, that's a rare thing.

Igor Tudor is not much else short term level, but is not defensive or pragmatic school of calcio. He is student of Ivan Juric and Gasperini football ideas. Aggressive possession types with alot of running.
What's your thoughts, do you think he has it? Can he become something special here or is he just good enough as a stop gap?
