I dont think his tactics are that horrible but he doesnt seem to make the necessary adjustments.
He is poor at man management and is quite poor at bringing the fire into the players.

I honestly liked what Motta was building initially. Very positive football that did not jeaopordize the defensive phase. The goals and chances started coming as the season went on.
I cut him some slack due to key injuries and no chance to rotate… but after he got most of the players back, he still made baffling decisions with the line up.

Started with the PSV game. Benching Yildiz. Keeping Nico on 120mins. Changing his mind on the sub after we scored. Then he started falling out with key players.. Yildiz, Cambiaso, Thuram, Vlahovic, etc.

Majorly disappointed in his avoidable mistakes. Poor man management from a young coach is not what I expected. He’s choosing himself and his ideas over what’s best for the club. He seems to have lost the plot and couldn’t handle the pressure of the losses and important games we’ve faced.

It’s sad because I truly did beleive in him at the beginning. Sadly though, it didn’t work out.

I have been thinking to myself we need Conte back for 3 seasons now, but I’m afraid that ship sailed and some people in the club are too stubborn to admit their mistakes and bring him back. He has an identity, understands the club, knows how to get most out of players and can give them motivation and a kick in the ass. I also think he would maximize Yildiz, Cambiaso, Koop, Douglas Luiz, Thuram, Bremer, Cabal etc.

Would have been less of a problem if we binned his ass back in November/December, when it was clear to everyone (even Blind Freddy) that this guy is clueless and that the team was looking worse and more disjointed with every passing game.

Now we seriously look to find someone with probably only 8 games to go. It’s just horrendous management all in all. This club is in a worse state than it was back in 2010.

Correct. We need to treat Italian managers as all the same. They're all basically infected with football Leprosy while carrying around small pox blankets. Keep them as far away from us as possible, especially Mancini.
