PSV, Stuttgart, Lille, Benfica, Empoli...
Remember when some posters in here were like “wow this Ryan Flamingo guy looks awesome”

No. Just no. We make average players look like superstars. We are passive, lethargic and have played sterile football for the vast majority of the season - allowing shit teams like PSV look like Barca of 2011. We are the masters of that.

This

That should be the expectation for any Juventus coach.
But it never was this seasons' reality. By some miracle we might just get into it but I'd rate seeing progress in the play and ending third/fourth much higher than us stumbling into the title race with awful gameplay at this point. We need something positive long term to turn the shit around, not some flukes.

Really think that we dont deserve an attacking minded coach, this fans and some of the players are too worried what will be wrong compare to what will be right. If you worried about the wrong things, then it will happened eventually

The right thing that I saw from Motta's side this season :
- we can create numerous chances, something rarely happen last season. This means we will have a high upside if :
- we can convert that chances
- we improve the players decisions in final third

- we can beat teams that are favourite, something that never happen last season
- Man City 2-0
- Milan 2-0
- Inda 1-0

His Bologna's side can beat Atalanta twice last season home and away. At least if he can reproduce this feat next week we will be in a better positions than Atalanta. Hopefully this will impact Atalanta when they face Inda and the domino effect will be on our side when we keep this current form

And as of now, we have a better goal scored in Serie A compare to Napoli, and less goals conceded compare to Napoli, while we played in 3 competitions and lost our best defender for a season long injury. This is all a fact, and people here still scream Conte. I really think these fans is not true Juventus fans, they just hate that Motta wan an ex Inda player. This case is same like Sarri

So for the better of all, I will only suggest if we want to be shift our mentality and play like how a big club played, the only coach that comes to my mind is Juergen Klopp, he play the same highpress with Motta, his side play an attacking model that excites many and he is experience in EPL and UCL (scream better than Conte)

He is great in man management and are like by all of his players like their daddy. At least he will get less resistent becuase he never coach/ play for our bitter rivals. And this young squad is scream for his name, especially with our tight budgets (like his early Pool days). They only need certain strong players in certain positions. VVD in defense, Robertson for LB, TAA fro RB, Salah for RW

We can sell Gatti and buy Hincapie (solid investment) and provide him with a significant better defender. Sell Cambiasso for big money, and get strong full back for left and right side that can fill his departure. Swap Luiz with Tonali , to give Locatelli challenge and we will have a strong midfield (Tonali, Loca, Thuram , Koop)

Get a real left winger, I suggest Alex Baena (23 year old, rarely injured) from Villareal ( this season he has 6 goals and 7 assists) and has 3.1 key passes average. And move Yildiz to the middle for all the fans happiness, but I really think that YIldiz is not a pure AMC (his key passes average only 1), even Koop has (1.6 key passes average). Compare to Cole Palmer (2.6), Rayan Cherki ( 2.6), and Xavi Simmons (2.1) as young players as comparison

Sell Vlahovic and end his miserable stint and just think this as a fail gamble like De Ligt transfer, and get Muani on loan + obligation to replace him. Eventually with all the improvement above we will get a more combination to play and can have more exciting game build up

But..

There was a man who won us the title and was still sacked.

His only flaw? Smoking too much.

He shouldn’t have been coaching us in the first place.

This is a guy who had alienated the entire locker room, probably even worse than Motta. We only won that title because the players we had were still world clsss, and they stopped listening to his BS and went into self-management mode. Besides winning the title, he had a very similar season to what we’re having now (knocked out early in the Coppa Italia, poor performances in Europe and being knocked out by a mediocre Lyon)

He always had to go.

I don’t think he alienated anyone. Not a single person spoke badly about sarri.

I wouldn't even say that. Really the only reason we won is because the COVID disruption totally ruined Lazio's momentum.

Your logical fallacy is straw man
No really I don’t think he alienated anyone. If I remember some players like de ligt even praised sarri.

I actually think we all took sarris this group is “untrainable” comments wrong. We assumed it meant the team can’t be trained or sarri was a Loser, but looking back it means sarri was trying to apply modern ideas into this team and the coaching coming from the built in allegri jihad ball was being forced into the training by management . This the comments about team being untrainable. How can you change the team when the trainers are going against your ideas?

That’s truc - forgot to even consider that.

But we still had class players tho (all on their last legs tho). Chiellini, Ronaldo, Dybala, Higuain, Cuadrado etc. guys who could still decide games on their own.

I dunno, the comments from Bonucci and Chiellini (and Agnelli after the loss against Lyon - when Sarri was sacked a day later) hinted to me that the coach, club and players were never on the same page essentially from the start of the season. If this was the case and not just BS pushed by the media, I can def see why he was sacked and we parted ways.

Problem with sacking sarri is club hired no experience pirlo afterward. If they had gotten zidane or someone with experience that’s one thing. But to replace him with pirlo is another.

Not saying sarri was great or the best, but people here want to give motta another season even despite the shit football, and have given allegri 3 years. Sarri deserved another season to get his ideas across. Management ruined it by getting pirlo.
