Our attack is terrible given the investment made in that department. Also, Yildiz and Muani have disappeared and while you could argue that he's not great, Vlahovic isn't scoring and he's always been reliable in that regard. Motta has major issues to fix in attack and it's been like this for most of the season. It's as if he doesn't train them and we have no chemistry going forward, maybe because he keeps rotating and using players in the wrong position or he doesn't know what to do tactically to make them click. Basically, a clueless manager getting bailed out often, but occasionally humiliated by mighty PSV and Empoli.
I think a major factor is the missing link between midfield and attack. Douglas Luiz and Koop have both failed in that regard (and probably more up 'till now too).

For instance Thuram, for how good he was yesterday, missed a fairly easy through ball or 3...

Juventus fans are delusional and VERY gullible...

Every single time this team gets a win, Juventus fans go and start believing this team will win everything just to get crushed in the next gaame...

A win against Man City... "We are gonna win Champions League!!!"

A win in Copa Italia... "Copa here we go!!!"

3 wins in a row against some minor teams... "I believe in Scudetto!"

Now we win against freaking Verona and just because the top 3 teams didnt win, now we see Scudetto hopes, now we see prise for the great Motta, now we see "best defence in Serie A"... and the best of all... charts comparing Motta with Conte...

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

somethimes I think we Juve fans deserve all the crap we get...

If the tactic is on point those would perform well, I don't think the tactic Motta has brought suits Luiz and Koop, the recruitment of team was not based on the team style of play. Motta has been trying to adopt his tactics into the team but has never answered, his success at Bologna had less to do with him and the formation 2-7-2 than the individual talents of Zirkzee and Calafiori.

Probably a bit of both. Players underperforming (as Douglas Luiz was starting to find his feet) and the coach not putting them in the optimal setting.

Mighty Motta. Beating Verona. Much wow.

Meanwhile in the CL, an Arsenal team missing several key players and with no recognizable striker put 7 past a Powerful PSV outfit, one that eliminated JJ. Amazing.

All fans are. Sure, we can be very critical here of Motta, players, Giuntolli, direction this club has taken. However, the whole point of being a fan is supporting the team, hoping to get results, trophies. I just cant follow the team without expectations. 6 pts off the top brings some hope, not much but still. There are 11 rounds left so lets see.

I have no hope. This team is nowhere near consistent enough or good enough to win shit. Coupled with a coach who plays guys based on feelings instead of meritocracy, we have a proper recipe for failure. Add a 60 million Euro Dutch traffic cone and the world's most expensive empanada, and we're definitely doomed.

If we actually, by some miracle, win the title, it'll be the worst squad to win Serie A since Milan in 99.

5 wins in a row, among which was win against inter, bring some hope that we can salvage this season. Fortunately for us, other teams arent really playing well and the league is shit in general so even if we make plenty of mistakes, we can still recover.

You keep hoping Bro. I'll remain pragmatic and grounded in realism.
