13 draws.

It’s all there. We should have been competing in this weak league throughout the season. We have (imo) the second best squad in the league.

If he wins the league (or takes it down to the wire til the last round or two) he should stay - anything else, ciao ciao.

Only 6pts off the title

Gap gets smaller and smaller

Agent Motta baybee. Lurking th shadows. Getting shit done.

He is double agent Motta. Drew all those games to make the other teams complacent. Then got us eliminated from cup competitions to stop us from getting distracted. Now he will move in for the kill. He is truly a man with focus, commitment and sheer will.

Thiago #Motta on @DAZN_IT:

WORDS - "We played a great match, performed well, and deservedly won. We created many chances and secured three important points for us."

ON THE VICTORY - "Earning three points is always positive. The way we did it was perfect—it’s not always easy to play while waiting for the right moment to strike the opponent. We knew that, after the elimination, the atmosphere would be different, but we played well to score, creating many chances, especially in the second half, where we netted two goals. The players always give their all, and their attitude was impeccable."

PLAYERS WHO NEED TO GIVE MORE - "I’m happy with the work, commitment, and dedication of the players to this sport. In the last match, they lacked the right attitude, but at the same time, we always demand the best from ourselves. That’s the key to our work—always striving for more. Koop is a special player; he contributes a lot with a fantastic mentality. It’s a privilege to have him with us. He must accept criticism but remain confident and convinced."

SCUDETTO - "We’re happy, but we must continue to respect our opponents, as we always have. The next one will be a strong rival in our league—we know their level."

If we change 6 of those 13 draws to win, we are on par with Liverpool record as of right now in EPL( not saying we are on the same strength with them), different league different opponent, but PSV beat Liverpool too

With Bremer, we probably will exceed that, even without Bremer I can see we win at least 4 matches from those draws

Cagliari (last min pen?), Fiorentina (2 goals lead), Torino, and what is the match that Cambiasso dribbled and got exposed in the middle of the field in the injury time?,Atalanta(pasalic goal)

Some of the ultras displayed the following banner yesterday before the match “Seeking men worthy of this jersey. Until then, you should play in yellow,”

Now that's more like it.

how many defender injuries did we have during this season? bremer and cabal are out since like 4-5 months, right? then cambiaso has had injury worries since december, kalulu missed a month, veiga got injured like 2 (?) weeks ago. kelly, an unused bench warmer at newcastle is an insta starter. ffs we had to start savona for like 4-5 months before he inevitably got injured. even mckennie and weah had to play fullbacks lol. and let's not forget that we fired danilo

and we conceded the least amount of goals so far. HOW?! :lol2:

On the topic of defender injuries, I always think it's funny that when he arrived journalists asked him about Weah's position and if he was be a wingback like with Allegri.

Motta said no, that Weah is a forward. And here we are, with Weah playing his best football yet and a fullback again.

Cause that's where he's needed now. Just like under Allegri. Obviously works better under Motta now though.

One reason, we kept most of our opposition in their half. There's still some Juve fear factor, atleast in serie A. In Europe they just laugh at us.

Our attack is terrible given the investment made in that department. Also, Yildiz and Muani have disappeared and while you could argue that he's not great, Vlahovic isn't scoring and he's always been reliable in that regard. Motta has major issues to fix in attack and it's been like this for most of the season. It's as if he doesn't train them and we have no chemistry going forward, maybe because he keeps rotating and using players in the wrong position or he doesn't know what to do tactically to make them click. Basically, a clueless manager getting bailed out often, but occasionally humiliated by mighty PSV and Empoli.

Muani should have easily had 2 assists if our players weren't wastful. He had a great game.
