Yeah but Yildiz is no Tevez, Dusan is Farr off from Higuain and there’s no one, no one in midfield capable of what MVP were. Let’s not start about the Defense. The only two players which could play in those teams are Bremer and Cambiaso.

Tactics, plan B, how to be a manager at a big club. But I’m satisfied.
For the record I give Motta 10/10 for his defensive solidity.
I’m not very impressed with the attack yet- even accounting for all the injuries and absences

Me too, but it was slowly coming around and forming. Vlahovic up front, Koop behind him with Coencicao and Yildiz in the wings with Loca-Thuram in the middle, Cambiaso, Bremer, Kalulu and Cabal in Defense. It’s not a world beater but it was almost perfect for a start and Serie A. But then BAM 2 ACL injuries in a month. With the substitute Striker out whole 1st half of the season, and the main Striker is so inconsistent it’s unbelievable..

Look I really liked Allegri especially in the first stint and how he always adapted but Motta needs time, it’s like everything is against him in past month. I like what I see even though it’s not perfect it’s still a good start.
Bro, i really don't wonna ruin your alcohol mood tonight, but we're 8-8-1 in all competition and that can't be a good start. Yes there are two eights there, just focus.

And ? What did you expect, 34-0-0 ? It won’t happen soon forget it. Stop overestimating this team, let’s not make the same mistake like last year. We are not there.

It seems my alcohol is not the problem but the other way around :)

Me too, but let’s face it Susan is not what we expected, Millik is also our every second day… there was no other result.

We can’t and shouldn’t compare them. Even though I like Allegri.

Its not the coach imo.

Its this club is rotten from the top to its toe.

We have such an unbalanced squad right now.

2 LW's and no real RW's.

We have 3 #10's with Douglas, Yildiz and Koop
only 1 #9 considering Milk is shit
long past it RB's when the season started we use an academy player

Right now we're thin in defense as well. Then again, going in to the season with just 3 CB's is also very risky. I blame this more on junktoli than on Motta

It's the Secco era all over again. We purchase random players which don't stick together.

I wouldn't say it's Secco all over, because Secco bought cheap players like Thiago, Sissoko and Poulsen

We paid 140m for midfielders who have the same impact as Miretti

That was a boring 0-0.

But let's not focus on result.

What's important is the beautiful brand of football.

OK, we might not have that at all.

But we should still look on the bright side.

If someone could enlighten us at this dark hour please. What is the bright side?
I guess that as things stand on the bright side Motta currently gets valuable time to experiment at a big club and learn on the job, getting accustomed to the pressure and how to deal with an injury crisis, somehow managing this while hardly losing a game and still keeping us in contention in all comps, even despite the excessive number of draws and lackluster performances…

For how long that will last remains to be seen though, because for example in the league we are still in close proximity of the top only because the others have been just as inconsistent, which we might soon lose sight off if we don’t improve our results.

Secco purchased Diego, Melo and Amauri. For their time they were considered 'expensive.' The point I'm making is that we keep focusing on the manager but our main problem has been our transfers.

You are being hard judging expecting this team to beat the big teams like inter or Milan. It’s transitional year. This team however will easily beat the likes of Parma empoli Lille stuttgart when it comes time to face them right? :lion:

Waited for a quarter of the season to pass judgement on motta.

Despite some false dawn at the start of the season I still have minimal interest in watching our style of football. We do not appear to have progressed from last season. We have spent a lot of money and seen no improvement in performance whatsoever.
we are clueless in our attacking movements and I honestly feel Allegri would not be doing a worse job with the same set of players. Very disappointed in motta.
