this is a bit of a captain hindsight kind of analysis. Simple concept being over complicated with crazy over analysis haha.

I can take a random video and put arrows triangles all over the pitch too. I can even put one up every players ass.
Ok, arrowbutt.

As much as I like the change in our style of play with Motta, I kind of agree with @Huidada. You can always draw a triangle between any three players- in this video, the triangle keeps changing every couple of passes, and there are passes made to players outside the triangle, so it doesn’t even make sense.
agree. Whoever made the video is probably someone who dreamed of becoming a footballer, then failed. Then dreamed of becoming a coach, then failed. Then resort to making fake analytical video.

this is the kinda person that can probably give you a 10000 hours long lecture on how to tie your football boots shoelace.
But then when you finally pass him the ball, he struggles to not trip over it.

But when you compare that to Allegri jihadball?

given the cultural reference, I’ll say jihadball is more suitable for Muslim players.

in the Sunday leagues that I play at, every weekend there is always a Muslim player who uses the football match to release his full week of pent-up anger, by injuring a non-Muslim player. There is something very admirably jihad about it

I thought we looked great in the first half. Some brilliant football with the whole team getting involved with attacking moves. Nice passing, flick ons, layoffs and the rest of it. We should have had it finished 3-0 up after 45.

Second half really lazy. Ref not helping but the players also lacking focus, composure and I daresay maturity.

Once again it's the consistency which is missing.

Games like these will happen. Nothing to blame him for. We misses tons of opportunities. It sucks it happened before the break. Gonna haunt us a bit. Moving on.

Mckennie looked really tired, should have remained on the bench, Mbangula should have been on the bench, barely had any positive touches..
why did Koop come off that early is also very questionable..

Koop felt some discomfort so its wise to take him off. DL needs to be given chances to play, eventhough he has been terrible so far. Kinda inexplicable since from what goes around, he was very good mid for Villa. We shouldnt give up on him yet. Mbangula should have come off sooner. We were wasteful and punished in the end. Ive seen countless of games like these so not gonna lose any sleep over this. We played good match though.

good subs, the players fitness status has been a long standing issue for us. Without the refs making the difference, we could have won this. The only thing that he didn't change was Vlahovic, because obviously he has no options
