Thiago Motta to DAZN: 'Deserved victory for the boys. Vlahovic has a bit of anger inside, Yildiz out too early but...'

BEST RESPONSE - "The victory. I congratulate the lads for their courage, for a victory obtained on the pitch. Many took responsibility, sometimes we had not great results but today we deserved it. The lads deserve it for their commitment, from day one to today".

YILDIZ'S CHANGE IN HIS BEST MOMENT? - "I agree (laughs, ed.). We were tied and Dusan scored. Kenan was doing well in the match but I preferred to take him off because Randal and Nico can play well on the left, Dusan was needed in the middle. I'm sorry for those who didn't play but we are a cohesive and united group, let's think about the next one".

VLAHOVIC - "He is convinced, I see it in his face. He also has a bit of anger inside for a situation that we don't want, he played a lot and helped a lot. Even when he wasn't 100% he had to play and he always gave his help, when he came on today he helped us win and I'm happy for him, for all of them".

MATCH PLAN - "Our priority when possible, is to get out on the ball and help the attackers all together, as a team. Then when you find teams that come to press almost man to man it's important to use the attackers. Today we had very fast attackers up front and we had to exploit them".

YILDIZ'S PLAY - "Beautiful. But it's normal for me, I always see him in training. There are many things that I like even more and he knows it well. I'm happy, maybe he didn't deserve to go out at that moment but we are many and choices are made for the good of the team. He works very hard, he is always available and has played in many roles, convinced he will do well. A young guy, a 2005, we have great faith in him".

Thiago Motta: "We’re Looking Forward to the Club World Cup with Curiosity. Messi? I Remember His Debut. I Thought: He's Afraid. I Was Wrong…"

The Club World Cup is approaching, and Thiago Motta spoke to FIFA's channels about it.

WORLD CUP - "It’s going to be amazing. Participating with a team like Juventus and having the chance to face the best teams in the world is a great privilege for us. We’ll try to approach it in the best possible way, aiming to reach our peak by the time we get to this competition. There’s still some time left, and I keep imagining what it could mean to play in such a tournament."

NEW EXPERIENCE - "It’s something new, but it’s a wonderful novelty. Bringing together the best teams in the world is exciting and motivating. Since it’s new, it’s something that could surprise us and sparks curiosity to understand what that moment could be like. Even now, as we prepare properly, we are ready to face everything."

MESSI - "I immediately think of his debut, against Juventus. I believe it was during the Gamper Trophy, at the start of the season with Barcelona. You could already see his great quality, his fantastic skills. He had come up from the youth ranks, and even in training, you could see his enormous potential. Huge. There were other players with great talent who joined the first team, but playing for Barcelona means managing other things too—especially the mental side, with so much pressure. Watching him during the warm-up in that match, three or four of us were saying, 'Look at him, he’s strong, but he seems a bit scared.' We got it all wrong!

He was so calm and composed during the warm-up, and our perception was that he was afraid. But when the referee blew the whistle to start the match… what a game he played. I also remember Capello afterward… Messi showed everyone that he could replicate in matches what he did in training. Actually, he couldn’t do some of the things in training that he managed to do in games against teams like Juventus or Real Madrid. He was completely different from the others who came up from the youth ranks. He wasn’t just strong; he knew how to handle pressure. In fact, he thrived under it."

PAST EXPERIENCES - "I’ve always enjoyed it. Whether it was my first season or later, in the U.S., the atmosphere was always perfect for playing. People come with enthusiasm and a desire to see teams play. With such an important tournament, representing such a prestigious team as ours and with the many fans we have, it will undoubtedly be an advantage, a privilege. We hope to satisfy all those who will come to the stadium to watch the team."

Manuel Locatelli shared his thoughts about the competition:

"It is a source of pride and responsibility. These are feelings you always have when wearing this jersey, but being the first edition, I believe it will be a unique experience to take seriously. It’s a goal."

"The fact that there are teams from all over the world, it will be tough matches, and they come from different leagues. It’s also a cultural exchange, even with fans from other nations."

"The reason we could bring this trophy home is that Juve is used to this kind of competition, with the importance of the matches. It’s an incredibly tough journey—there are the most important teams in the world—but we need to take it one step at a time, as we always do."

"It would be great to face another Italian team (Inter, that is), as it would mean things have been done well."

"America is always beautiful; you see it in movies, and then it really is like that. It’s a country that excites me, probably the most important in the world. It’s a source of pride that the tournament is being held there, and it’s going to be a spectacle."

"McKennie and Weah will be playing at home. They are two very different guys. Weston doesn’t tell us about America; he lets us experience what it’s like to be him as an American. He’s an exceptional guy whom I care a lot about, just like Timothy, who is very different from him. McKennie is all about music; he’s always dancing. He’s one of the funniest people in the locker room."

The Juventus management has given Thiago Motta to do two objectives between now and the end of the season: Qualify for the champions league and make the most out of €234m spent on the squad, in particular players like Koopmeiners and Douglas Luiz. (@CorSport)

Every team we plays has players completely free at the top of the box because players drop too deep. They get easy crosses and passes off which costs us every time. Yet this doesn't change.

This mentality that everyone must defend is what kills us. There is a difference between pressuring and dropping back so we have 10 Defenders. Motta is a bit stupid though so he sees players working to defend and is happy Not recognising that it destroys our defensive shape and any chance of counter attacking or building play.

Was always unsure whether the conspiracies were true regarding Zionists controlling the West, but with Thiago Mossad in charge I have become a believer. Request to change the thread to Thiago Mossad.
