I actually think that's what this team needs. Fear that a guy that will kick their asses when they only give 99%. There is clearly talent enough to do better but we seriously lack balls.
It's exactly what we need. Tudor has similar traits to conte. We just need to change the fragile mentality that we have. Motta seems like he can't do it. He already had a bunch of feuds with players and the team chemistry is completely ruined now.

We sat back so deep in the low block after the goal that we were begging for it. It was very Allegri-esque. If that's how much of a pussy Motta is, then it doesn't matter if he stays or goes. Just like Allegri.
It's the same shit every game. We have the whole team in our box and all it does is cause confusion. No one ends up marking anyone because they all think someone else is. Our structure completely collapses. But he keeps doing the same shit over and over. This was his solution to us leaking goals during that period earlier in the season, fucking amateur hour.

It was weird, we sat back and happily let them have possession, which was very Allegri like. But at the same time were so open in our shape which was the opposite of Allegri like.

Either way it was idiotic from Motta after being pretty comfortable in the first half, just like the Milan Supercoppa game. Worrying that he can't see this.

Time is running out. Fuck off.

We need to make the cut so that we could reach that 4th place.

Should have done it in November though.

Motta : “We showed great personality and character throughout the first half. We limited Lobotka: in the second half we chose to remain compact to counter a team that is physically fit and more rested than us, but we were not capable. Napoli then took over the pitch but we are young team so it should be learning experience for us.”

Motta : “Sorry for the defeat. We had a good first half. Napoli first in the standings for a reason: they are strong and have a good coach, plus they can prepare all week. Juve hasn't won in Naples since 2019, it means it's a difficult pitch for us”

More rested? Fuck off... It has happened over and over again. Don't start with the excuses...

Thiago Motta on "DAZN" after the game:

DEFEAT - "I'm disappointed about the defeat because we played a good first half, putting our opponent in great difficulty. It's no coincidence that our opponent is first in the standings: a strong team with a good coach. Having had the opportunity to prepare during the week, we come from playing many games. In the second half we struggled to repeat the good things we saw in the first, which is why we weren't able to win today".

THE DEFEAT THAT MAKES YOU AWARE? - "We are 100% focused, in many other games we have reacted well and recovered the game, in others like today we have not. We as Juventus have not been able to win on this pitch since 2019 and it is a fact that must be said. It is not an easy pitch, the reaction now is for the next match, today we are disappointed. Napoli pressed a lot, ran a lot and the fact of preparing it during the week represents a small advantage".

WHAT WAS MISSING - "We didn't lack personality, on the contrary, we showed a lot of it in the first half by playing very good football and putting the opponents in difficulty with the ball. The first pressures in the first half were very good: we limited the game and Lobotka. In the second half we wanted to stay compact also because we play 95 minutes against the top teams in the league and in good shape and who prepare the game during the week. We come from playing many games, even in Bruges we spent a lot of energy. In the second half we had to do the first pressure well or regroup and in the recovery play well and go forward. We weren't capable, technically we didn't do well. When we got the ball we lost the second duel, so they got the ball and attacked with a strong team".

There is so much wrong with this statement.

1. Why did we choose that? How many times have we done it and it has cost us? Why did he think it would be different against the league leaders, with this makeshift defence?
2. We were nothing like a team that remained compact. We were wide open.
3. If we are worried about becoming tired, it is far more tiring trying to defend for 45 minutes and chase players than keep the ball and let the ball do the running.
