Juventus have earned 34 points after 20 Serie A games this season, compared to 49 of the last season at the same stage; the -15 points difference is the worst among the sides present in both campaigns in the competition. (@OptaPaolo)
We just gotta reframe this -15 points, we all know it's punishment from FIGC

For the betting scandal :fagioli:

I have been someone who has said we need to give him time etc but my patience has run out

There is nothing more frustrating than seeing someone stubbornly and arrogantly stick to their ideas when it is clearly not working, it's the exact same thing as Max last season.

The most frustrating thing is that we are drawing these matches in the exact same way game after game. To not even use all your subs to try and win this game and to only make 1 sub before conceding is arrogance. Leaving the same players on the pitch for 90 minutes despite their performance is arrogance. Starting a game with Koop as the striker is arrogance.

Allegri wanted to prove last year that his way of winning was the only way, it became more about him trying to push his agenda than it was about doing what's best for Juventus. Motta is doing the same thing. 2 sides of the same coin. I can't stand that.

We looked better in some passages of play tonight but is that the bar we have set? A couple of plays and it's a passing mark?

How can you watch the same thing happen week after week and not change it or anticipate it and make some subs that are proactive before it happens. Nope, we score, we sit back and the same thing happens week after week. 3 subs made, it was clear as day you had to at least put Weah on so you had some sort of threat deep with all the space Atalanta were leaving. To refuse to even try that is arrogance and it cost us points today and shit decisions like that have cost us points all season.

Allegri had good 20 rounds but he finished the last 18 rounds with a 4W-10D-4L record. The way he's going, Motta won't even reach those 4 wins in the second part of the season.

What is the solution then ? We tried an experienced coach in Allegri he failed and now Motta who is relatively inexperienced has struggled so far.I think coaches are easy scapegoat for everything going wrong with our club.

A coach can make a HUGE difference and trying to say otherwise is intellectually dishonest.

We need a strong figure at the helm of the club which we don't have. Someone who understands football and not just the business side of things. We need some identity.

I understand that you can't just keep sacking coaches but you also can't just accept mediocrity.

It’s funny. If clubs like Madrid and Bayern sack coaches like there’s no tomorrow whenever they don’t win stuff, then it’s definitely ok for Juventus to do the same. We should stick to the standards that big clubs have (win or at the bare minimum, compete until the end) or fuck off.

No quick fix unless we bring you know... but Motta clearly hasnt made this team play any better. He prolly finishes the season but with this level we would be insane to keep him for 1 more season. Nothing so far suggests he could build a winning sides most us expected when he was brought. He has been given a lot of time to make a team, unusual for us since the results arent there and he is no one, no history here. He still stubbornly insists on Koop as AM eventhough Dutchman doesnt have either pace or the skill for the role.
