Really nothing personal, Emma. The threads you get worked up about, in what limited number I've come across, I find incredibly tedious and not worth the bother.
There are some people for whom conflict becomes the goal, not the means, of discourse.
If you think I waste all my time in threads where everyone agrees, you either don't know (how could you?) or are using a bit of selective memory. I have had my tirades, applied sailor-mouthed expletives liberally, and jabbed hot pokers into the eyes of other posters in several threads in the past (just not around you it seems). But I don't get off on it. I don't need that to validate myself and to feel alive as some others might.
And, well, that suits me just fine. Not everything I post here, or read here, has to be the Jerry Springer Show in order for me to get something out it.
As Nick knows all too well, there are sh*t disturbers, and then there's the rest.

My problem is with the purely on topic posters thinking people who post random offtopic crap need to get a life? What is the difference in posting this and posting tedious and trivial? What someone posts on a forum dosent mean shit about their life. Thats my point. You dont need to be so fvcking obnoxious.

Hey - you started this thread and invited the commentary. So yes, given that this is an "off topic" thread, I do need to be so fvcking obnoxious. :devil: It's what makes these kinds of threads barely worth following for me. 
Some people come for hard facts. Some people come to be entertained. Some people want jokes. Some people just want to socialize. Some people ask for advice or seek help. Some people want debate -- or to be challenged or to avoid such droll situations where people might agree (God forbid).
One size doesn't fit all, either for you or me. Welcome to society -- it's your choice for what you do and don't want to participate in. This much, it sounds like, we can agree on.
If challenging others, stirring up debate, and avoiding agreement is your thing -- have at it. There are times I like that too. In turn, there are times I like to say, "Well, that's pretty limiting." And I'm having at it.
But right now, I want to go out for some gelato.
