Marotta: we have rejuvenated our squad, and we will qualify for CL this campaign.

Reality: Overall, we have improved alot, but we will still play the same boring football, our RB and LB will still be our weakest spots, Krasic will continue his poor form, Bastos will play above average at the beginning of the campaign but then slowly drop in form as we are witnessing with Krasic now. Same with Montolivo, Aqua or Pirlo. Pastore or Menez will be our new hero, while Matri and Qtube will fail miserable.

In the end, we will finish 4th, not even being worthy that spot - and then the spiral will continue - never qualify for CL and always lots of false hope..

Ohhh.. Giovinco will move to Napoli and become their new captain and number 10 eventually...

I would have mentioned Asian player also but Korea is probably the best bet for this purpose and Italy collectively shot itself in the foot where that country is concerned. /shakes head

I really want an American on the squad though. It's not just kits and whatnot, we want mentions on ESPN etc, we need some more buzz anyway we can get it, Premiereship is leaving all Italy in the dust. If the kid is a national team guy all the better.
