If you had seen Montolivo play, you'd notice he's got good vision and can pass. Much better than Aquilani.

In terms of vision and technical ability, Aquilani is far better.

However, Montolivo works far harder to get himself on the ball to try and influence the game, while Aquilani just sort of wanders around hoping people will give him the ball.

By pointing out that an 18 year old with a handful of senior appearances already shows more maturity and intelligence on the pitch than Motta, who has been playing in Serie A for several years.

because the 3 man defence didnt work with us last season with zaccheroni, so much so he admitted to it and decided to change the system. additionally it makes having krasic on the team pointless, and signing beck too
