Here is a believable rumour.

The total cost of the loans is 49.5m for Matri, Quag, Aquilani and Pepe. That 17m probably refers to the installments, as the cost of a players transfer is amortized.

I just checked Juventus.com and:

- Matri (15.5 payable over 3 years)
- Aquilani (16m payable over 3 years)
- Quag (10.5 payable over 3 years)
- Pepe (7.5m payable over 3 years)

= 16.5m a season for 3 seasons.

As for that 25m for new players, going by the realistic rumours, 15m for 1 of Bastos, Menez or Dzsudzsák, and 10m for a new rb.

Minus Elkann opening his checkbook, no chance of Sanchez, Pastore, Neymar, Hazard, etc.
or we could not buy bastos, menez, or ballssack, and pay 2-3m for Giovinco and 13m towards a LB

great post, but you did not factor in potential fees from the sale of Iaquinta, Sissoko, Amauri, Buffon etc...

Good point. Although other than Buffon (we better not), I don't think the transfer fees from Amauri, Sissoko and IQ (he will be injured, preventing his sale like this past winter and last summer) will be enough to sign any1 important. Our management will just be happy to get them off the wage bill.

Speaking of wages:

Amauri (4.2)
Sissoko (2.2)
Brazzo (2)
Grosso (1.5)
Legro (1.5)
Lanzafame (1.2)
Manninger (500k)
Traore (500K)

Also Del Piero will not be awarded a similar contract, so his current 4m a year will probably be 2-3m a year next season.

Obviously some of the above will be replaced, but our wage bill will still be smaller next season, and hopefully some of those savings are put towards transfer fee's, although with a big financial loss predicted for this season, I doubt it.

scary thing is that DC is considered our starting left back next season according to the 'newspapers'
Of course, BD!...a player needs only show a hint of competence in his position, for a month or three, over a season or three, and thats it...DONE DEAL. he is our starter...if he is italian, young and cheap to pay...one decent performance per season is enough to concrete a place in the first XI.

de ceglie and grosso and traore make me miss Molinaro. At least that fucker could cover and tackle...Definitely one of the world's worst passers, but more solid at the back than those who replaced him.

    GdS

Aquilani: Playing with Pirlo would be fantastic.
    Talks about Rossi too.
    I hope DN stays.

    Ummm, OK. But shuddup, Zizou!

What's there to like about the Conte option? :confused2

    Villas B.=10m €. :scared:
It won't happen either way. These guys won't go with a coach unfamiliar with Serie A. Take that to the bank and deposit that shit.

    Witsel name thrown in there.
He would be an interesting signing. I haven't seen more than a couple of his matches, but the Belgian members rate him highly. Seems to have a bright future.

    Appelt or Milito?

Uhh, think a little, Aqui. You probably won't be "playing" with Pirlo apart from in training sessions.
