I don't mind if Juve sell Chiellini. He's the only player in the squad that's worth over 20 million, and we badly need the funds to revamp this team for next season. He'll be miss, but in my opinion we wont mourn his loss for to long. We have two young CBs in this squad, Leonardo Bonucci and Frederick Sorenson that we could rely on for the future. Especially Sorenson, who I believe has the potential to become something special in the defensive unit.

With the possible funds from the Chiellini deal, added with the income from the unwanted players that we plan to sell, we'll have the chance to purchase some quality players.
.
Buddy, did you watch today's match? Nooch was fucking terrible, disgusting in fact, and Barzagli got skinned a few times. By the likes of Floro Flores and Paloschi. Our CB's were putrid. And I'm sure you're aware how bad our defense has been for multiple years.

You want to sell our 3 time Serie A defender of the year (the last 3 seasons no less)? He's had an off year, but the grass isn't always greener, man. We're nowhere near the right position to sell off arguably our best player.

Patience. Selling Chiello right now would be suicide.

Dude, Zanetti and Eto'o couldn't reach the guy not to re-mention Mou. All of whom are considered legends to their fans and are proven winners, what makes you think Alex or anyone could do anything to change him? Only a shrink and pretty good one too could help this kid and even then it will take A LOT of work and time with no guarantees it will work too.
First of all, Eto'o is a head case anyways. They have no italian blood in that team except Materazzi and a young Santon. He had racism blown at him from just about every team in the league and for an 18 year old that is very difficult to handle. Here some members are claiming that Sorensen is not mentally ready to play 90mins but expect the world from an 18 year old balotelli with MUCH more on his plate.

Seriously, I think coming back to an italian team with italian champions would do him well, maybe not immediately but over a year or so I think he would mature. Other than that piece of shit Zanetti, he has been surrounded by money grabbing mercenaries at Inter since he was a kid, no strong role models have been around him. When he was at Inter he had to deal with egos like Zlatan and Eto'o all WC champions fighting for each others spot so of course shit was going to get to him. Inter were full of egos including Mourinho and yes Mou did an excellent balancing act and Balotelli was the ugly duckling but I wouldn't call City a suitable environment for him either.

Well, according to Nicholas he has been a shadow of his old self the last two seasons. :D

So you believe only Italian champions would have a toll on him huh, I don't see why you would believe such a thing but fair enough. You said racism was/is a main factor to how the lad turned out to be, well I don't think bringing him back with a Juve shirt would suddenly make him more likable from opposing fans let alone our own.

I don't even know why we're discussing this so thorowly when there's almost zero probability he'll ever be in our team, and Im perfectly fine with that :D

Yeah lets sell Chiellini, and not build a team around one of the top quality players we currently have. Then in a few months when Rolando (or whichever random defender who isn't as good as Chiellini) fucks up, complain and whine.

If we badly want funds then sell off all the shit Juventus has picked up since 2007.

It would be pretty silly, unless we received some absurd bid for him.
Given Marotta's track record of bringing quality defenders (not to knock the Nooch too much, cause I do think he'll be a good player), for me it would have to be a damn ridiculous number.

the jesus is the worst for this kind of talk.

All this Juventus team needs this summer, is to sell Chiello and then trade Buffon for Menez. After that it'll be smooth sailing...

:p

Agreed, buddy.

Weren't the boards supposed to invest heavily this summer? Why then amids all the talk about four world class players we were supposed to buy, now we are back to reality and the only one we have - we are about to sell?
We can sell Gigi and Giorgio to get Aguero and ... let's say Cissokho! But then, when the next summer arrives we are surely to sell Aguero and Cissokho so that we can sign Pastore... But don't you worry because regardless of the pair or trio of world class players we will have there will be an abundance of shitty, unskilled 'italiens' that will ruin this team. Surely the problem lies in our development plan then, since there isn't any progress for quite some time.

Having a strong Italian backbone at Juve would help a bit, but that's just me and my lil' ol' opinion. Racism was a big factor but not necessarily the main one, I didn't say that. What I did say was that put a lot of extra pressure on his plate and as an 18 year old feeling like a stadium full of people are against you is bound to get into your head sooner or later. He needs to learn to deal with that in a better way, and when he does watch out. Just like any punk kid who has been picked on through the years, this stuff will pass with the right guidance.

I think he and Cassano are a bit different. I agree with the zero percent chance of him coming, I'm just saying that if it was possible and for a good price we would be foolish not to give it a go. :D

Hustini, too much biasm in your post. Not one to defend Inter, but bit twisted spin on them. And the end of the day, everyone are accountable for their actions, doesnt matter if an obnoxiously unprofessional kid has Maldini, Del Piero, Buffon, Zanetti, Nesta [insert more professional role models], he will still be an obnoxiously unprofessional kid.

First of all...you can't sell Chiellini and then buy Aguero and Cissoko as that cost would be well over triple what we would get for Chiellini.

Biasm against Inter or pro Balotelli? It doesn't really have anything to do with being biased Os. It is just of my opinion to think Balotelli just needs to find the right team/environment to mature. No biasm there...and biasm isn't even a damn word. :nerd:

And second of all Chiellini is wanted by both Real Madrid and City.
Nonetheless I was talking theoretically - even if we get those players, that wouldn't change a lot because we would fill chiellini's spot with Barzagli or sb similar.

That excuse of the funds is just too silly to be true. Don't you know what management have we? Chiellini would be sold for 30M (at most) and we'd use that money on Rolando and Bastos, for example.

So, what's the next downgrade figured for this team? Buffon for Storari? Matri for Gilardino? Do it!

And third of all, Barzagli is to never fill in the shoes of Chiellini. Ever. End of story. Finito. Die Ende.
