Chiellini has been far from his best for two seasons now.

Rolando is hot and cold type of player, his tackle is nothing special, he's not agressive enough for a CB.

The whole team have been far from their best, not just Chiello. His technically is limited but it's rare to find a warrior like him.

He's good but gets a lot more attention because he's a trouble maker. With all his issues, is he really worth it? How many years has he been a professional now and has been able to provide his teams with any consistent quality? Every time he gets a run of 3 good performances, he fucks it up with some idiocy.

That's because he was coached by losers like Mourinho and Mancini, with awful man management skills. Give the boy to Del Neri and you'll see a transformation.
