no way...it depends on the oil and the mileage. I've heard there is a type of oil that can be used for 35k km's if you install some carbon filters

Wow! 35k km's is a lot, that stuff must be expensive. Personally I change the oil in my cars every 5k but if that may end up closer to 10k if i'm feeling lazy. Also if I don;t drive the car too much I have always just changed the oil after 6months.
