Does it not depend on how he is replaced?

I would have no problem with Juve keeping Melo, but if he could be sold and Mascherano bought for a similar price, I'd say that was a very good move.

Then again, I'd ditch Aquilani and go all out to have a Melo-Mascherano midfield next season. :D
I'd agree with that theory in case that position along side with the one more was the one to be fixed, when the rest our position look great. But at this point, to focus on Melo when we have to get a new LB, RB, LW and possibly a striker? Then no, I think it's very stupid. Kinda like when we were piss poor we decided to sell Diego who was one the few who did good, it's just bah!

I personally wouldn't like that pair. I was always preferring to see a destroyer and some creative force next to him. ;)

Anyone with half a brain who matches Juve should realize Melo is LEAST of our troubles, its like saying Krasic and Giorgio are issues (both of them have been inconsistent latter half of this season, like Melo, even if I value them higher, this team stinks). Yes he we can replace him, but why? Its totally unnecessary when there are bigger issues to dea with, with whats prolly a limited budget, with smaller chance to get real good players due to her declining reputation/lack of CL.

Vialli and Conte being mentioned as coaches :sergio:

We're getting competition for Elmander

Hazard will leave in case a good offers comes, he's on sale apparently

Sanchez is Roma's priority but now we have Inter who joined the race

Vialli couldn't even handle friggin Watford FFS, how could he be in the running. I guess being linked with Conte just goes to show that lessons weren't learnt with Ciro's stint as coach. I doubt we'll get any of those names mentioned, Dooz.:D

Spalletti is priority I think. I think we have a chance for Elmander :D

I hope not.:xfinger: I wouldn't mind Elmander but what is his asking fee? Once Inter gets involved, it's game over for us regarding Sanchez.:D

What do you think about Spalletti?
I'd avoid him like a fat & ugly girl. The only Italian coach i'd like to see here is Ancelotti & that's provided he has control over which players come in. Other than that we should look at a non Italian option. We seriously need a coach that can adapt to different situations, that isn't afraid to take an offensive approach if we are a man down, a coach that can restore confidence into the players along with gaining the players trust & respect.

Spalletti can't bring that to the table IMO.
