I'm baffled as to why so many of the rumours is recent weeks have been with attacking players. When it comes to winning, defence is the key! So far the only consistent defender we've been linked with is Beck. Beck! Yes he might have some talent i don't know much about him however i know that as of now he is not a champion and someone with experience. I have to admit I miss those capello days when we would score one goal and know we've won, when we had Thuram, Cannavaro, Zambrotta patrolling at the back, so far since Calciopoli we have only had Chiellini. Sad to say Bonucci is hit or miss for me. But we have to invest a lot more than 8m euros for Beck in our defence this season. We need solid defenders! I don't know how many times i've watched one of our games this season where we've been a goal up and drew or lost. Countless. I would be happy for us to spend a large amount on a superstar a la Neymar, Sanchez, Pastore or Aguero, however I would like the rest to be spent on Solid, Experienced, Champion-level defenders
