I really don't understand you guys sometimes. If a player thinks he can earn more money, have a stable team to player for in the process and take his time choosing the biggest move of his life then I am happy for him. You would be doing the same I am sure of it, I know I would.

Right now Chelsea is much more appealing than Juventus, and they just happen to pay more. And the problem is?

I think you guys are just tired of not getting the players you want or that we are rumored to so you take it out on the player:D
Something wrong with some of these posters when Killa Cam is making more sense :D

Not gonna lie Os, when I saw that you were the last post in this thread I JUST KNEW it was gonna be a response to me and it made me cringe...I am glad you somewhat agree with me this time. :D

I was expecting the usual..."You are a fucking idiot" or the even better "you gotta be fucking kidding me" that I usually get from you:D

Whew!

How many years have you been a Juve fan?
Sorry, didn't see this post:)

Umm, I think about 1998ish...As I mentioned before where I lived I could never watch the games just the occasional news online. When my dad got a satellite dish I had RAI and they sometimes played Juve so that's about when I'd say.

That's what we need to do. Grow some thick skin here, he is a 17 kid with huge dreams he isn't some 24 yr old that knows the ropes yet. Ask yourself where you were when you were that young? When I was a kid I was wearing all kinds of different shit form different clubs, I really didn't know the logistics behind the jersey just yet, especially between Inter and Juve.
Hmm.. I think i can understand his position easily. Tommorow will be 19th my birthday, im young, isn't i? :D At 17 age i did know everything about Juve, their rivalries and other shit. Probably he wasn't interesting about Juve before, while we gave an offer to him.

Him not having 1st team experience didnt bother you when he was said to have virtually signed for us, did it? :D
To be hones i would like to have any talnted brazilian for right prince not for 12 mln E and 1 mln E wages .

I thought his transfer would be 6 mln E and his wage about 0.250 mln E .

1m a year for a 17 year old that will out perform in 1-2 years players earning 2.5-3.5m is not bad. We need to start taking more risks or we will either pay for a 30m Neymar that may be just as risky and pay him 3m or more a year to watch him flop in Italy or get washed up Luca Toni's. You tell me what is smarter business...
Problem its not only his wage 1 mln E , biggest problem is his transfer fee 12 mln E , yes we need to take risk but 12 mln E are pretty mutch now we need money to spend 12 mln E for RB (Van Der Wiel) would be better than 12 mln E for Piazon , all what i seen from him is 2-3 clips on youtube there was nothing special . At least Neymar videos are amazing .

Lol you think little of me if you thought I would disagree on this, and pointing out the laughable knee-jerk attitude towards him hehe after we not signing him anymore.

I understand those who say its pricey, salary wise (because transfer fee is not why we backed out), but if we dont take the risk of giving extra 500k to get a good brasilian young talent (its not really about Paizon, but the process of being willing to gamble on talented youth like everyone else), then you simply shouldnt bother. We gave Amauri 4.2m in salary, that was undoubtly a bigger and more hilarious risk.

You grew up in Europe, he grew up in Brazil...I'd say that might have something to do with it.

No risk/investment, no gain. And NO REPORTS of us not signing him due to transfer fee, solely about the salary. Is it worth the 500k to miss out on him? Only future will tell, but unlikely, you have to take the risk and invest to get good young talents (he'll prolly be another anecdote of a top player we missed out on in his youth, many such stories), especially from the country who has impeccable record of churning out such quality. Why even bother to begin with if not willing to invest a bit.

You had no idea about Pastore or Sanchez until they came to Italy and there were no you tube videos of them before they came here. It is a damn good thing Udinese and Palermo decided to sign them instead of telling themselves "well, there aren't any youtube videos of them so we will pass".

NO BRASILIAN PLAYER would leave their league and their FAVOURITE clubs if it wasnt for because it pays more to play in Europe.

He is not a Juve player, and isnt obligated to uphold some unrelated sense of rivalry, we are simply one of couple top clubs in Europe who were interested in him, and he wanted to come to, until someone else offered a better deal. Its that simple.

I agree completely, and I've been saying it for ages.

People need to get realistic. Football is just another job. Would many people reject a better paid job if they had the offer? Hell no, everybody wants as much money as possible for as little work as possible, its only natural.

Critisizing a player for choosing another club which doubled his salary is ridiculous. Piazon doesnt owe anything to Juve, he's free to choose the club he wants.

And let's face, it we're not that attractive anymore. Fact is, we're nowhere near the first tier of European football anymore, We were once in the top 3, now we're not even in the top 10. Thats the sad truth. If I were in Pizaon's place, even with the same salary offer I'd still choose Chelsea.

Lol I missed that part of his post :howler: YOUTUBE VIDS

But yeah, perfect example/post Killa cam, we dont take risk on getting these south american gems first (Udinese signed Sanchez for 250K!), will only lead us to bemoaning in the future how we cant compete with others to pay 30-40m for them when they become known/established in Europe.
