I guess we'll have to see then. So with your logic we'll 99% signing Aquilani,Motta and also Rinaudo.

If you actually read the post you'd see that I said that there are real loans and the "formal" loans, I basically explained both of them, stating which players are in which group and why.

IMO Rinaudo, Motta and Aquilani are real loans while Quag, Pepe and Matri are not.

Just read ffs.

Okay I will give you one which contradicts what you just said.

Liverpool gave us a 20 Million pound player who had reached full fitness and was ready to play for them for nothing, nothing Zlatan, Why aren't we obliged to sign him then?

We paid the other clubs compensation to take the players from them. Until you can find me the proof where it says Juventus HAVE to sign them then you're wrong. On every press release it cleary states we have an OPTION to sign.

Those are the official press releases also Zlatan not some theory you have.

As if the World Cup qualifying games and friendlies weren't an indication that Lippi has become too arrogant to admit that he makes mistakes. Hate to say it, but that World Cup went right up to his head. It's not a matter of 3 games. It's a matter of selection etc.

Eeer, Aquilani actually proves my point. They gave him to us for free because he was injured almost the whole last season, whe he played he didint do fantastically and he wasnt in their future plans. He wasnt an essential player in thei team, they could do without him. Plus, it's most likely he himself wanted to return to Italy. Motta played only 16 games for Roma last season. They were both not needed players which their clubs wanted out.

Quaq, MAtri and Pepe were key players in their teams (as can be seen buy the number of matchs they played last year). Aquilani only played 18 matches last year, scoring only 1 goal. They didnt need him. So thats why he's a real loan, with a real option. From our perspective, it doesnt make sense to spend almost 5 mil € for a one year loan of Quag if you're not buying him.

And of course the official press releaes are saying its a loan with an option, whn it officially is. What I'm talking about is an unofficial agreement, basically a promise from MArotta. Of course there is no proof when its a promise (a gentleman's agreement).

Do you not think the financial aspect paid to the clubs were a price we had to pay to release key players for a season from their respective clubs?

We had a gentlemens agreement with Wolfsburg, problem is they don't exist.

No, I dont, because the fees we paid werent really high enough to be of much value to the clubs for losing a key player, who you dont have enough money to properly replace (if its only a loan) and yet you have a hole in your squad.

Do you really thing 2 mil € to Cagliari makes sense for them to give us their best player?

And regarding Wolfsburg, whether we did or did not have a gentlemans agreement is debatable, but even if we did, it wasnt only up to tem. Džeko wanted to leave immidiately, we couldnt sign him. Of course they exist. And w'eve made tree of them.

Even if you're correct he probably has learned his lesson.

The reason why I did'nt want to discuss because this is going nowhere and the discussion is endless and we won't know until the Summer.

Alen (and myself) have been saying for months: we're definitely keeping almost all of them.

The thing is that these are not real loans. You loan with an option to buy usually players who are not playing in their clubs, who have been relegated to the bench and are not in the first team plans, who are in poor form or were injured, and who are not crucial to the club's future. Thats why they are letting them go on loan in the first place, because they don need them but nobody is willing to take the chance to buy them outright. They are usually done with a small or no initial fee. IMO, thats what real loan deals are usually for. We have only two of those: Aquilani and Motta.

All the other players we got on loan were first team players, integral parts of their teams. Quag played 34 Serie A games last year. Pepe played 45 games for Napoli. Matri played over 20 games for cagliari this season and was their best scorer. Those are not the players you allow to go on a real loan, because they're an important part of the team. YOu either keep them, or you sell them and replace them with someone else. It makes no sense loaning them if you do not for sure that they will stay in the new club. Because if you have replaced them you need to sell them anyway after they have returned from loan and if you havent then you're missing a player in the squad. Either way, it makes 0% sense loaning them and not knowing where they'll be next season.

take Matri for example. He was Cagliari's best scorer this season, and, AFAIK, after we bought him they didnt bring anyone else to replace him. What sense would it make for Cagliari to loan their best player for half a season for just 2 mil €? They lose their best striker when they're fighting to stay in Serie A, they dont get enough money to replace him. What exactly do they get out of the deal? Because if it's just a loan they'd lose him for half a season basically for free and get him back next season, without gaining anything. Now, they might be a small club, but I doubt their management is completely retarded.

Thats why the three above players are not real loans. They have been signed. The loans are just formal, for financial or other reasons, and Marotta has promised (or made a gentleman's agreement, whatever you want to call it) to buy them. The only way not to buy them would be for Marotta to break his čpromise given to the other clubs, and that wont happen.

First, who would want to deal with us again after they see we do not keep our word and are basically screwing them over? We'd have much more difficulty negotiating for players in Serie A, and we all know thats our main market for new players. Secondly, if marotta did break his promise, he personally would be unemployable. Who'd want to work with him? And if they did work with him, everyone would be extra careful demanding securities from his club, meaning the deal would be done on unfavourable terms to his club. If he cant work properly nobody will employ him, and I doubt he'd let that happen.

Serie A is a closed society, 20 clubs, 20 GM's and presidents, you need to be on good personal terms with them and you need to keep your word and fulfill your promises.

Therefore, it's 99% clear that Quag, Matri and Pepe are staying next season and please lets stop fooling ourselves (and others) that they are just loan deals and that we do not have to take the options, because we clearly do.
Nice post, man. Even if its gonna be different, your point was good.

Bring this legend back:
http://www.tuttosport.com/calcio/se...trone:+«Ho+lavorato+in+una+Juve+d’eccellenza»
Who remembers those days when he revolutionised players' fitness and strength to the extent that coaches like Zeman had to resort to his idiotic outbursts? Our players then could run other teams and the duracell bunny into the ground.
Enough of our players getting injured for the season every time a defender so much as looks at them.
Ventrone's available - get him in!

Sure but Lippi will be able to make the necessary tweaks and changes. After all it's one thing to have 3 matches in WC, a whole other to have 38.

btw Am i the only one who wants Cassani and Criscito?
No. :D

Actually they would be my first choices as fullbacks and two of the few italian players that I woulda like to see in Turin. I wouldn't mind if we spend 20/30M on them.

Don`t know about Cassani but I always rated Criscito I think he is quite solid defensively and ok offensively
