A way to play both Melo and Mascherano and Marchisio:

Fixed.

What's this stupid obsession with playing Marchisio out of position?

Marchisio out left of a 4-2-3-1? You mean it's not enough that's he's out there in a 4-4-2?

Matri (Benzema)
Giovinco - Pastore - Krasic
Melo - Mascherano
Doubt Juve can afford both Pastore and Mascherano (and Benzema) especially when there's more important positions that need to be improved like the fullbacks.

and Marchisio is the best option as a left winger

Sorry K.O but that's a little imbalanced. Machisio in the 3 as Nedved points out would provide a better representation in terms of balance, in comparision.

Balance? You have two freakin' holding midfielders in there for God's sake. If you want to use Marchisio, just throw the Christmas tree formation out there and be done with it, or the 4-3-3.

Who would you rather have playing there from the current bunch in a 4231? Giovinco isnt an option so dont bother with that. Not a fan of using Marchisio out wide, but of those two lineups, i prefer Nedved's set up.

Mascherano and an "attacking midfielder" are part of the current bunch?

Realistic for next season:

-------------Gigi-------
Beck--Bonucci---Chiellini--De Ceglie
--------Melo------Marchisio
-----------Aquilani---------
Krasic-------Matri-------Quag

reserves:
Toni/DP/Barzagli/Manninger/Ekdal/Sorensen/Grosso/....

Didn't say it was good enough.

I dont see Quag as a winger at all and I'm not too fond of Matri as our starting striker yet I dont think we would invest this summer so I have to say it is realistic although I fear Buffon will be sold in the summer since we are missing out on CL, that is if Marotta stays

I hope we go 4-2-3-1 next year instead of 4-3-3, the former system would fit this squad very well.

With the way things are looking that's what we'll have to be happy with. All i know is that with De Ceglie on the left, that's where most opposition attacks will begin & end.

Indeed, maybe if we don't buy Matri and put Toni or Iaquinta in as striker, we might buy a decent LB or another option is to not buy Quag and put Martinez in which would free up funds for a LB.
But all depends who will be in charge.
For my lineup, I assumed Marotta will still be here.

Well if we can't get a discount on Quag then i'm not to keen on keeping him on board, Matri is way too expensive especially if we can get Vucinic at the same asking price.

I think Marotta will still be here, i'm prepared to see what he can do with time on his side.

The same here, but I don't see us getting Vucinic, he will want CL if he gets the chance and surely, there will be some teams in CL wanting him so.

Don't know, with some bad performances, we might miss out on EL also, then I don't see him staying.
We'll know more after Friday's match.
