If we played barca I would play a 4-5-1 , defend then counter. So you're saying a 4-3-3 can defend the same way a 4-5-1 can?

last season people were in joy and dance about us playing 4-3-1-2, when that failed begged for a 4-4-2, now we lost 2 on the trot people demanding a 4-2-3-1

some here really have no club about tactics, playing a 4-5-1 doesn't make a team any better than playing a 4-3-3 if you dont have the right players, and the right sort of players who can adapt to this system, and when i say system i dont mean 11 players on a pitch in set positions, take our system for example, it is not a 4-4-2 as such, if anything going forward we switch more to a 4-2-4.
