For June - I would love to sign Torres but he'll probably be snapped up by Real who need a striker too...unless his loyalties to Atletico run as deep as they should. If they do snap him up we'll end up with the Benz and enough cash to shore up the fullbacks or bring in the Bale.

For now - Forlan is just a dream, there is no way we're buying Forlan when we have Del Piero. Both being in the same age range and more so after the purchase of Mr. Toni wouldn't be great for our attacking future, very illogical. Rossi may not be as consistent or bring in the same immediate result but a better fit to our "project". If Rossi comes in and performs, Quag may not be signed at the end of the season.

Due to what I wrote I'd rather get Forlan but Rossi would be excellent as well..come to think of it Forlan would fit in better alongside DP and all our other strikers. You'd never be able to to field Rossi - DP if the team were struck with injuries.

With Fowards being scarce 4-4-2 is stretching our Fowards thin no, yes Del Neri will be adamant but he shouldn't make our team Juve to Predictable. " Imagination is more important than knowledge"- Albert Einstein

The best thing to come out when Grosso is not on the field is we might see Traore/Sali or even Camilleri who all are better than Grosso..
No, no and no again. I hate Grosso but in this case you're totally wrong. Squad depth is everything right now, and considering we still have another forward to buy this would be totally the wrong thing to do. In summer yes but not in January.

Yea but with Del Negro we're only gonna do 4-4-2 so don't get your imagination going
Del Neri's 4-4-2 is not by any measure anything close to the widely accepted 4-4-2. Perhaps with De ceglie back it will be more traditional, but with Grosso...lets say, basically playing without a left back on the field, we end up much more 3-3-3. including Grosso...its more of a 4-4-2...but a very oddly shaped 4-4-2. as grosso is very very rarely in his defensive rear left flank quadrant, more generally in a left midfield position, though a winger, not with any central midfield duties, marchisio tucks in beside aqui and melo, and krasic, whilst, like grosso, he starts in a deeper position, his major time is spent in a much more advanced position, basically a right wing forward.

I like what I know of Borini...still...i go back to this idea of Are we a club serious about at least 1st to 4th??? if so, we replace someone like quagiarella, our top scorer, with someone who suggests they will follow on from the sterling work quags has done.

Other than a second striker, (we have presently 3 prima puntas, surely one is to leave, hopeffuly amauri), our most obvious need is for a left back. I don't care if he can't atack. I just want a left back who can defend his area, who can tackle, who can cover...anything else he can do will be a bonus. But that position...especially in the absence of the improved version of de ceglie, is a massive problem for us presently. Grosso on the field is scarey and horrible. The whole left rear flank is left constantly completely open.

So..in order of priority:
1. A left back
2. a replacement, more naturally a second striker, for Quags
3. backup for Aqui...(why dont we bring ekdal back??is his game not naturally suited to a a regista?)

If there was a number 4...it would be for a left winger. I see both Momo, who might and should leave, and marchisio, as fine backup for melo, an aqui backup i have mentioned, but what of our left wing???? especially with Lanza gone...its Martinez. We paid big for him, and i dont see it as a bad signing...yet. He has been very unlucky with injuries. He has shown exciting talent in the recent past...I am unsure as to how our defence would cope, with two wide midfielders who are vastly more offensive than defensive, which makes me think that when melo returns, and marchisio is back on the left, martinez may well solve priority number 2.

Why does Italy treat it so bad?
The FIGC doesn't speak for the people...neither does the media
So Inter, Milan, Roma, fiorentina, Napoli.... fans are not the people of Italy :shifty:

All of them were more than glad that Juve was rotting in serie B just 4 years ago and they still hate us.

Ironic isn't it, the club thats so called :gsol: representatives of italy :gsol: is the one that must of them hate.

Why not Traore,or Sali, even Camilleri will do better, i'd bet on it..Grosso has just lost it and does not deserve any more chances,I was waiting if he could improve, yet with every game he plays worse.. and for LB we have more than enough player who can play there, PDC,Grygera,Traore,Sali even Pepe will do better than Grosso..

yes get a striker this Jan,play Traore..De Ceglie and Grygera will soon be available, if Marotta cant find a good deal for LB..
