I'm saying that we should also be buying players to help build the squad now not just the future.
Of course I'm glad we are looking to the future but we also need to work on the squad we have now so that the future team has a future worth playing for..
what it comes down to is that I'm just very impatient, if it was up to me I'd have whatever reinforcements by the end of the first week of the transfer window so they can start to get familiar with tactics and the rest of the squad asap. I get a little irritated that other teams already completed signings that they needed already ( like genoa, milan, merda, parma ). I'm just impatient.
we are almost in the same position as last year ( playing against Parma with only 1 "fit" striker.. Amauri none the less.. ) I mean there's Quag and DP but lets be a little realistic here.. I know we cant rush a revolution but playing these crucial games for a whole month with only 1 real CF and the lack of quality depth is nerve racking.

look at the way Genoa and Parma traded off so quickly, I mean, just because the transfer window opens the 2nd doesn't mean we have to start negotiations the 2nd. With the situation we are in we need to be able to gain ground as fast as we can, it's just my personality, I don't like putting things off for the last minute or do something tomorrow that I can do today. I might not even visit this damn thread until I just see new players officially signed in the squad.. my anxiety is killing me

They are working on the current squad, but it takes longer to complete bigger deals. I'm not that patient either, but I'd rather there wasn't a rush for signings and possibly overspend, but they assess the market as it develops. Aquilani deal was good for example.

I don't know and I'm sure there really isn't that many people here ( if any ) who do know.. I don't have transfer lists or connections, I mean, I know what you're getting at but look at the situation with Quag / Aqua / Traore / Rinaudo.. all last second ( some can say that Quag was even a panic buy ) just irks me that we have these gaps that need addressing right away

I said it was all personal preference, I just said that I couldn't wait and would rather us have our targets already selected, I mean we do scout right? I'm sure we don't think " lets see who's on the transfer list right now and can they fit into our system " I know what you mean but I don't want to keep going off-topic, in the end it comes down to this; I'm too nervous/impatient/anxious ( all personal problems that I have to deal with and it's best if I just stay away until everything is over )

Obviously if possible I would like Neymar in the spot of Quags, for the RB position I would be happy to see Sorensen or another defensive RB. LB is more open for an attacking minded LB as we have Marchisio on the wing.
