He has the ball skills and the shot but hasn't done it in the past. He's a ball playing center back, to try and switch him at his age is silly and would more than likely deteriorate his defensive ability.

Sure he can cover at left back every now and again, when the match up is suitable but he's a center back cut and dry.
What's the drama behind Agger's wanting to leave? Many 'pool fans (used to?!) like him and he was happy there?!

GdS have Leo and Cassano on the front page again. That's like the 7th time this week. Just like every SKY report lately. :sigh:

What about a RCB/defensive full back just like Sorensen has been playing?

Do you think Agger can handle it?
Sorenson plays on the right because he has to. He's slow and not too good with the ball, my guess is eventually move to cb permanently.

Agger is a cb. He's been a cb all his life. He has good ball skills and a wicked shot. Unfortunately he's not very quick. He's play left back a few times in his life, he's done very well some matches and poorly in others.

So I guess Juve could play him at left back against teams unlikely to counter and that aren't fast. But not everyday.

He's simply a center back. Except on FIFA, then he's a striker and takes free kicks.

Hodgson doesn't like him. Pool fans still love him.

He hasn't said that he wants to leave, he's said that he will leave if Hodgson doesn't play him.

Granted the reasons he's thinking of leaving is because he's on the bench, so he's unlikely to come to Juve for a similar role.

Rumors had him going to Germany as well. Apparently Wolfsburg want him.
