Hodgson is a decent manager who is used to employing outdated tactics. He was a fine coach at Fulham where a top ten finish is a good year. Unfortunately that's not the case at Liverpool.
He was employed by the old regime as a "yes man" and was given a chance to prove himself by the new owners. That hasn't panned out and whether he realizes it or not he's been demoted to caretaker status.

Both Pellegrini and DD interviewed with the club, but the owners at the time (who were later forced to sell the club in October) wanted a manager that would do what they wanted and wouldn't need much transfer support.
It's a great job for Roy because whether he turns it around or not he can just continue blaming the players, the fans, and Rafa for his short-comings. And he'll probably become England's next manager. Which I can't wait for.

35 million maybe last year before the world cup when he was half fit yet still scoring every now and then. He has been perfectly fit for sometime now but in terrible form... he looks less interested than Balotelli.. He is leaving in the summer...

First thing we had a silky smooth central midfielder in Miereles played as a right winger, secondly we had Kuyt at the left wing, and on top of it he was playing long balls to Torres head all night.
