Macheda confirms Serie A loan plan

Federico Macheda “has been given the all-clear by Sir Alex Ferguson to go on loan for six months to Italy,” confirmed the Manchester United star’s agent.

The Under-21 international striker could be heading back to Serie A to gain experience with the likes of Juventus, Fiorentina and his hometown club Lazio showing an interest.

“Federico could leave United, that is true, but only on loan,” agent Marcello Bonetto told Fiorentina.it.

“The club and Ferguson have absolute faith in Chicco. With the return of Michael Owen, confirmation of Wayne Rooney, plus fine form for Dimitar Berbatov and Hernandez, the space for him in Manchester has been reduced.

“We talked it over and were given the all-clear by Ferguson to go on loan for six months in January to gain experience.

“If we do decide to leave Manchester, then Italy represent the most likely destination. Up until now we have not been contacted by anybody, but will only choose a club that can guarantee Federico consistent playing time. That’s the only reason for leaving Manchester.”

Among those linked with a bid for Macheda are Fiorentina, Lazio, Parma and Juventus.

“Fiorentina have not contacted us, but can do whenever they want,” added agent Bonetto.

Loan = Marotta style

Plus he is young and Italian. I think this is the surprise he's gonna throw at the fans. :agree:

Those who played Yahoo serie A fantasy football know that Britos' price to buy him was 1.00 point. And it was for a simple reason - the guy is brutal and he never goes through a match without at least 10 fouls, some cards and lots of negative points.
No wonder Montero likes him :D

They are looking for a Empoli for Man Utd....
"To gain first team experience"... why would he come to Juve then.

F*ck Moggi and his recent comments.

I hailed him as a GM and craped on him for his bad deals and I think he should concentrate on the Napoli trial where he and his lawyers are doing a fine job.

Each and every week I see him crap on Krasic and I'm sick of it. He'd be the 1st to brag about it if he was the one who signed him.

We need a poacher BAD! Of course a mid and fullbacks are needed.

Then why we never had a Camo backup as good as Krasic? Why were we always reliant on Camo and Nedved and when one of them was out we used to suffer?

    Ha! Pepe will never leave.

EDIT: Actually if Man U offer 50 million as reported, I would be disappointed if we didn't take it.
Yeah bit lol figures being rumoured for goalies nowadays, though the above is unlikely lol, what isnt unlikely is Zenit getting Akinfeev from CSKA for 47m. That would be huge wtf.

I think Moggi meant Krasic wouldn't be good enough to start with Camo being in the squad therefore be his sub.

Bronzetti wants to place him(Amauri) in Rome or Milan and is blocking us from selling him somewhere else apparently. I think it's gonna be difficult because of his wages and I don't see inter or milan trying to get him. We'd need to pay part of his wages if Lazio make an offer. I'd try a loan swap for Vucinic but it ain't gonna happen. I think this winter the best we can do his include him in a swap deal for Gila if the player and agent agree to that. :sigh:
I don't think Iaq will leave this winter mercato.
