Man if we don't end up getting Cassano we really fucked up there. Unless we plan on spending a shit ton of money this winter/summer then we really missed a good chance here. Stupid move on our part if its true that Inter get him, and good job to Inter for getting him.
I love how people say that they don't want Cassano here because of the risk involved but those same people said that Aquilani was too injury prone and not worth the risk. :dielaugh:
Btw, I don't buy the "to sign in July" rumors that pop up in November. Top 4 and out of top 4 makes a world of difference in our mercato performance. It's more likely that we're looking into some players, but I doubt very much that we're making anything official right now.

Then again, you have a Iaquinta whose work rate makes him twice the better player than he should be normally and Adebayor whose nonchalance and work rate make him twice worse than he should be, and in the end you more or less get the same outcome. I'd definitely swap them, but I definitely won't lose +10m eur in the swap and I won't waste my non-EU spot (Is Ade non-EU?) for someone who doesn't give you more than 4-5 goals than the 3rd choice striker that is Iaquinta.

Only twice in his career he scored more than 10 goals in the league. If Adebayor didn't have the great 2007/08 record, he would have had literally the same numbers with Amauri.
