Berbatov means Amauri for MU fans.. They bought him very expensive, pay him high wages but can't score.. the difference is only Berba is lazy and technical type of striker and Amauri is hard working and strong one.. Ask any MU fans and they hope that there is a club who will buy Berba... As long as Amauri go another way, i would be very happy. Both of them need new environment to find their form
That is certainly true. Berbatov for Man U is a bust. But still...Berbatov is 3 times the player Amauri ever was.

Don't sign fucking BerbatOFF!!! Man this guy is a joke. Record holder of goals for the NT and all of them are against countries like Malta and Albania... Oh wait - he couldn't score against Malta - they were tough and we drew...
WTF? I know that Amauri is bad, but Barbie is not a tad better...

I can't believe that Berbatoff would be cheaper or with a lower salary than let's say Lukaku. And guess whom we are going after... In moments like these I wish Bulgaria was NOT in the EU...

Berbatov wouldn't leave, and I wouldn't be keen on getting him.

Question guys: Since Genoa are not doing so well this year, anyone think it would be wise to make an offer for Rafinha? Is he even having a good season? What do you guys think?

He wouldn't use up our EU spot since he is now in Italy...:snoop:
He's been made to look like a bitch from what I've seen. Must be the water they drink at Genoa.

So you would rather have a solid RB rather than one that attacks?
With Krasic on the right wing, and playing as a proper winger, there isn't really space for an attacking right back to overlap without getting in Krasic's way.

Better for the balance of the team to have a defensive right back and, if Marchisio is to keep playing left midfield, an attacking left back.

Offensive wingback means mainly someone who is offensive, but cant defend for zip. Atleast adequately, there are exceptions, for example Alves and Maicon generally defend adequately enough (usually that is, while being major offensive weapons). And also, we really dont need his type due to Krasic and our very fragile defence. His type might be useful for LB though.

P.S This is in general for the role and our needs, dont think Rafinha is good enough for a top team anyways.

Damn it people can I at least get an explanation so I can understand why? Is he just not playing well or what?
I don't think Rafinha is a particularly good player and I don't think an attacking right back is a good idea, as I said in my previous post.

Thank you, that's what I was looking for.

Berbatov does have good technique but he is so inconsistent in front of goal. Sine his hat-trick against Liverpool he hasn't scored yet has he?

Serie A pace might fit him better but still, guy is almost thirty! I can see him being a success at Juve but only for a couple years. He's already lazy as shit, as he ages he won't get any better. Get some young 'uns Marotta.
