Juventus could be set to do further business with VfB Stuttgart if a report in Gazzetta is to be believed.
The club are preparing to offer tenacious midfielder Mohamed Sissoko in exchange for die Schwaben's Romanian striker Ciprian Marica.
Representatives of Juventus were in Klagenfurt to keep tabs on Marica in Romania's friendly with Italy. The striker ended up scoring at both ends of the pitch, cancelling out his own opener by diverting Fabio Quagliarella's flick-on past his own goalkeeper.
Stuttgart are rumoured to be interested in Sissoko, whom they see as a replacement for Sami Khedira and enjoy good relations with Juve, after Mauro Camoranesi's summer transfer to the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Marica joined Stuttgart from in 2007 from Shakhtar and has scored 18 times in 90 Bundesliga games, as well as providing 17 assists.

Juve to buy after Amauri injury [/FONT]

The Brazilian twisted his knee in training yesterday which could see him sidelined for up to three months. Further medical tests will be carried out later today.
Juventus were already thinking of making a New Year bid for a centre-forward given Amauri’s numerous injury problems this term and his shyness in front of goal.
The former Palermo striker, who won his first Italian cap at the start of this season, hasn’t scored in the League since February’s 3-2 win over Genoa.
Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, who netted against England on Wednesday night, is a possible target given his issues in Spain.
It’s still unclear at this stage though whether Real would release him on loan given that Juve will probably lack the funds to make an outright bid.
However, Juve director general Beppe Marotta has a list of other alternatives as he strives to work his magic on the transfer market.
Catania’s Maxi Lopez is an option even if he has hardly scored so far this term, while Manchester City’s Emmanuel Adebayor is a possibility even if his wages could prove to be a stumbling block.
Stuttgart striker Ciprian Marica, who scored at both ends in Romania’s 1-1 draw with Italy in midweek, is another name being mentioned.

Spurs boss admits for first time that unhappy Kranjcar could leave
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has admitted for the first time that Niko Kranjcar could leave in January - but hopes he will stay.
The Croatia midfielder has grown increasingly disillusioned with a lack of opportunities at White Hart Lane and this week repeated his threat to quit the club if he continues to be frozen out.
While Redknapp would like to keep hold of the 26-year-old, describing him as "fantastic" and also "unlucky" that Gareth Bale and Rafael van der Vaart are playing so well, the Spurs boss finally declared on Friday that he would not stand in Kranjcar's way if he wanted to leave in the next transfer window.
Speaking ahead of the crunch clash with arch-rivals Arsenal on Saturday, Redknapp said: "We're not going to gift Niko away; he's a top player in my opinion.
"Let's see how things go in the next month with him."

He added: "I really wouldn't want to lose him, but I do understand where he's
coming from as well.
"He needs to play; he's a top-class player. He's gone away and scored five
goals for Croatia in the last three games.
"Hopefully, he'll get his chance sooner rather than later."
