4-3-3 would work IMO if PDC becomes very good going forward or we can get a Trémoulinas type.

Apart from Krasic they are all CM's, that's going to be a bit flat up front since the only way Dzeko will be able to score is from krasic or constant high pressure as far up the field as possible which is going to exploit the weaknesses of our defence.

I would rather get Dzeko, Tremoulinas, maybe Hazard and then a proper right back. It just isn't viable to have all of Aqua, Marchisio and Hamsik.

And you can't be serious about keeping Motta?

We need some depth if we're playing for CL next season especially in the wing and lb and rb position. Getting Ziegler for free with Lichensteiner instead of buying Motta would do good. Selling Grosso,Grygera and De Ceglie would allow us to buy at least another quality defender in either Tremo or VDW. Get a couple of wingers to replace Pepe and Lanza and we are set. I heard someone said Alfellay can play on the wing but I am not to sure. He would be pretty cheap as well. Get another classy winger someone like Bale would be awesome but i think he would be very expensive at this moment. Maybe if we can go for Mata would be ok.

Not necessarily, on one model it could work, say if you had two krasic types on the wings. But a 4-3-3 to a 4-5-1 wouldn't work if you had someone out wide on the left like Neymar.
