We don't really need Hamsik, as silly as it sounds not to need a midfielder who guarantees 10 goals in serie A and who is so calm and mature in his play. In this system we play there is no space for him.
I don't see him as a CM in a 4-4-2, we aren't set for 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1, so the only way to play Hamsik is a 4-2-3-1.

Nedved said before how he likes Hamsik a lot and Hamsik said that Nedved has been his idol, but that won't mean anything at all, especially while we have the 4-4-2 Del Neri as our coach.

Unless we offload Sissoko , and we play a 4-2-3-1 without cassano I don't see it happening

For a good 4-2-3-1 we need 3 new players for the attacking quartet. Only Krasic is good enough from the current attacking players we have. The rest are either bad, average or finished. We will need at least 2 summer transfer windows to create a great 4-2-3-1.
That's if we have any intentions at all to do something like that.

Couldn't Hamsik play an advanced LM in 442? He seems to drift a lot while playing but I feel he often ends up out left during game play. 433 like Salvatore said?

Hamšík fanboy? :p

4-3-3 would work IMO if PDC becomes very good going forward or we can get a Trémoulinas type.

"I like Hamsik because on the pitch he makes the same decisions that I would have made," Nedved told the press.

"He is a serious guy and an important player. He is complete and is becoming one of the strongest players around.

"He also has a great character, good vision and the ability to score in crucial moments during matches."
