I would call Ade a flop in City, with the money they paid for him, i doubt he was brought in to be a bench warmer. His finishing is one of the worst i've seen for a "top" striker.

How has Benzema exactly flopped when he hasn't had an extended run of games? the times i've seen him play this season he hasn't been half bad.

I would take Benzema over Adebayor anyday.
So how is ade a flop in City and Benz not when both are currently bench warmers.

When Ade played regularly he did score and assist. 14 goals and 3 assists in 26 games is not bad for a player that is the 2nd highest scorer of his team that is not to mention that he missed a lot of games (partially for being injured and partially for being banned for asshole attitude)..
He also went to play in the African cup of nations and was there during the togo shooting incident (he has not been the same since). We did see his full potential with Arsenal particularly in the 2007/2008 season. He is a trouble maker and I like how the opponents hate him.

Benzema does not enjoy Ade's determinism, he does not score as much goals nor assists and is also currently a bench warmer without being injured (like ade was). Both of his coaches are complaining about his lack of effort and his dismal form is obvious every time he is on the pitch. 8 goals in 24 appearances last year is disgraceful particularly when there is not a single match where his contribution stands out. That is not to mention that he plays for Madrid in the Spanish League, a team that is very attack minded in a league that cannot defend unlike playing for City (A struggling team) that is defensive minded in a league that can defend.

Clubs of both players over-payed to get them no doubt about that however City has multiple Strikers that compete with Ade while Madrid has only one.

Yes Adebayor has not been at his best but his performances are not bad at all.. not even close to being enough for the flop label. Benzema on the other hand is not even good at training.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Which type of player would suit Serie A more? My opinion is Adebayor.

Inter fans would hate Adebayor and I believe he would score against the people that hate him most everytime. Kinda like Balotelli used to do to us.

Giussepe Marotta:
“We always ask for a foreign Coach as if they bring who knows what with them, but I believe that the Italian product is at the maximum also on a coaching level.”

I think the same bias is why some of you don't like Pazzini, he was very good last year and showed much more then Benzema, who to me is rated mostly because he was an early bloomer.

None of your posts made sense. You never stated why Benzema is overrated except for the Real scenario. Can a player not reinvent themselves & find top form? Don't use the Real situation as an arguing point because i'll continously bring up Sneijder & Robben to counter that lame point.

Just wait until Dzeko has a dry spell, ill be all over you like a bad rash. You would bring up Milito because he scored a brace in a CL final.

Adebayor?:howler: Im not even gonna give myself gas over him.

I'm not talking about our current crop of strikers, i'm talking about Benzema. How do you come to these conclusions?
OK let me make it simple for you
I think Benz is a good player he is a good CF and a good SS HE IS NOT GREAT AT EIGTHER OF THOSE POSITIONS!
Since he is not great and you make him as good as Dzeko who IS GREAT this make him overated

Overated is rating someone more than he actually is and thats what you are doing with Benz and others do it to they did it with Quaresma before and now him!

I might underate him but only time will tell if I do this

As for the current form Pazzini is better than Benz but if you take both to top form Benz is better

Right. First you said Iaquinta > Benzema. When i laughed at that you said Iaquinta = Benzema. Then you say Iaquinta isn't good. Then you say Benzema is good.

Make up your mind already!

I never ever said Benzema is as good as Dzeko. I said i would take Benzema over Dzeko anyday. Reason being is that ive seen way more of Benzema than Dzeko. Ive watched him during his Lyon days when he just broke into the starting line up. Ive seen him go up against defenders like Vidic & seen him turn them inside out. I haven't seen enough of Dzeko to make a non biased assessment of the players.

Most of you are going all nuts for Dzeko because he's scoring like mad & the media put it in your face. I bet half of the Dzeko fanboys here haven't even seen him play.

You really wanna compare the Benzema scenario to Quaresma? Really?

Pazzini better than Benzema? :howler: This doesn't even require an answer because deep down inside you know its absolute rubbish.

Dude you should have heard the priceless shit that was going down in here.

Iaquinta > Benzema changed to Iaquinta = Benzema.

Adebayor > Benzema

Pazzini > Benzema.

Next we'll hear how Maccarone > Benzema & Matri > Benzema.

Its only a matter of time.

You should start accepting that there are people who don't rate Benzema, no matter how much they try to underrate him by comparing to other players.

You and V don't seem to accept that there are others who don't like or rate Benz.

Benzema is weirdly underrated in this forum.
:agree:

Pazzini > Benzema
WTF!?! What's happenin' here? :sergio: (sorry Ahmed)

Somebody here mentioden 4-3-3 with Krasic, Gio and Dzeko and it sounds pretty damn good (and it would be the cheapest option too). But it's not gonna happen (I think), so gettin Dzeko/Benz with Guag (I know) would be a dream for me.

Are Benzema & Dzeko even the same type of strikers? Isn't one more of a SS?

@B: I have seen Dzeko play. The guy is a fooking beast I tell ya. Head and shoulders above anyone we currently have. If we get him we'll be set for years and if we get Neymar...my God! We'll be the envy of everyone.
