Benz to Juve soon or Dzeko later? Tuesday 5 October, 2010

Juventus are wondering whether to try and sign Karim Benzema in January or Edin Dzeko in June, according to the Italian papers.
Benzema is out of sorts at Real Madrid. He turned up late for training with France yesterday and has been used sparingly under Jose Mourinho, often on the right flank.
The 22-year-old has a difficult relationship with the Special One, who told the Spanish media that he'd have to move training to later in the day, as the former Lyon starlet is always so sleepy.
La Gazzetta understands Real Madrid only kept Benzema this summer because there was a lack of adequate alternatives on the market.
Juventus have a long-standing interest in the Frenchman, although Il Corriere dello Sport believes Beppe Marotta will wait until the summer to satisfy the club's need for a striker when he plans to launch another bid for Edin Dzeko.
Il Corriere understands that Diego's move to Wolfsburg could have been a down payment for the Bosnia international, as Juventus have so far only received €10m for his transfer.
Steve McClaren's side are also interested in signing Momo Sissoko for around €9m, which could happen as early as January.
However, if the Mali international leaves for the Bundesliga, Juventus will be obliged to find another midfielder capable of competing with Alberto Aquilani, Claudio Marchisio and Felipe Melo.
The total operation for Dzeko would cost around €30m, and Marotta has made no secret of his desire to lure him to Turin, even saying yesterday that the non-EU ruling was the only reason why he failed to sign the former Bundesliga top scorer earlier this summer.
