Off cassano excitement here, did any of you guys watch the Wednesday CL game between schalke-benfica?
benficans have this LB, David Luiz 23 years.He was great.defensively and offensively.
But the most noticeable aspect of his play was his technique.He's got great skill over the ball (our FBs look like jokes compared to him) in fact he can easily be one of the most skillful defenders i've ever seen.
which gives him confidence in defense as well.and that's what we lack in our defense, i think.

Just a question, how do people feel about signing Ziegler in January? I mean his contract runs out after this season, so I think any bid will be accepted by Samp. The guy is far from quality, but I don't trust De Ceglie, he was good today versus Inter but he's been poor most of the times.

Ziegler wouldn't cost much, 1 mil should be a decent bid, his wages shouldn't be like Poulsen's and DN knows the guy. Worth a 2-year contract?

From the match vs inter,where we could have won..i really hope that Marotta and DN,as well as Agnelli sees that with a good strike partnership,better than any of our current partnership is essential for us to win games where chances dont come too often.. Dzeko/Cassano/Benzema/Neymar/Aguero should be priority next season, and even better,a loan or purchase of a class striker with EU in January

Give them Grosso.. They would be very happy to get the replacement for Ziegler also
