Khedira - Chiellini swap talks

Pirlo close, in the next two weeks they might clinch the deal

We are after Gilardino, but Borriello is also mentioned

Bastos seems ours

Arshavin and Beck (weak) rumors

1) So laughably believable

2) Way to contradict your policy of reducing the average age and wage for a guy who will definitely not give this team the fight it needs

3) :sergio: x2

4) meh

5) the best rumour of the lot, I suppose. And it's weak :disagree:

Pirlo, Sanchez, Bastos, Beck, Gilardino, Dsudasak might be a pretty balanced campaign, assuming that Bastos is being looked at as LB even though that's tricky, Dsudasak in front of him would be pretty intense. But its pretty obvious we're looking at 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 next season seeing the coaches were being linked with.

Pirlo - Let's assume it's a 4 year deal... it will be around 16mln euros for wages

Aquilani would be 16mln now + wages

But I wouldn't compare those two. Pirlo has been quite bad over the last two years and I don't see why should we go for him. The old Pirlo was amazing, but this is just too old. He's very slow nowadays and his plays is reduced to minimum. It wouldn't be a terrible transfer but c'mon... we can do better.

These are the kind of signings that will push us closer towards 10'th place :touched: Definitely in line with our policy of becoming an established mid-table provincial outfit.

Why the F are we being linked with more washed up Italian talent? It's either mediocre or past it, and Italian. Can't we explore other markets?

Ye. But I guess that's because they want one kick ass player (Neymar that we can't get) to be non-EU, hence the drama.
There are good enough options in Serie A alone as much as EU players in other leagues. I don't need to mention names. We just need to be able to scout better.
