Drenthe left Real for regular playing time, he wouldn't accept a bench role. If we are to sign great players, it would be that we could guarantee a starting berth along with the potential to win silverware.

agree, i remember when he was selected to france NT and played really solid game as RB against Del Piero, he couldnt get past him all game and he can play equally good as DM if not better.
