If they are so convinced Juventus can play better so why they are not playing? Injuries? Every team has them.
awsome, next time when inter milan or rome lose al their strikers + the one they bought to cover, are injured, please do tell.

we have a horribad injury list considering forwards this season and to make it worse at the exact same time we lose filipe melo.

before we were having injuries and stuff, we were second placed, but people forget this.

Yeah yeah, as far as I hate to defend Inter, but Sneijder, Milito, Samuel, Thiago Motta or Cesar are injured for the most of the season.

Alex can play winger too from the times I saw at Internacional.

Also just read Alex has had the most assist in Russian league two seasons in a row.
He's excellent and can add brain, something we desperately lack....but....

Marotta : Market is closed. We won't buy players from abroad because they take months to integrate we'll look abroad in June.
...he ain't no Italian :wallbang:

so can we assume that we did have a budget for the winter window but we used the majority of it by signing Piazon? ( rumored 5-6 mil ) we are down 2 players ( Quag, Lanza ) and brought in Toni to a crowded position already and not a winger for Lanza? Hopes and dreams can only get us so far. I think it's going to be one agonizing trip until the end of this season. ( especially the games where amauri plays upfront with Toni )

We will need one of Martinez or Del Piero to seriously step up if we want to do something this year. The team was doing fine when we had that starting line-up with Krasic, Aquilani, Melo, Iaq and Quagliarella. What we're missing now is Quag and we will need a SS who can do what Quag was doing. Not just someone to score ~10 goals but someone who can completely replace Quag (goals, running etc).
If Martinez or Del Piero can replicate Quagliarella in the starting XI, then we have hope. Naturally, we will also need lady luck with the injuries.

DP won't be able to replace Quag on the running part of the job, that is certain.
In the matches I have seen this season, his speed isn't his strongest part anymore (which makes sense of course at 37).

I agree. Martinez will more likely be what Alen said.
WILL is too strong word in Martinez's case. COULD is more appropriate.
I don't underestimate his quality and potential to successfully replace Quag. It's his constant injuries that don't give me hope that he can "survive" for too long.
I have a feeling it's gonna be Del Piero who'll have to replace Quag's contribution. He's traditionally the best in the last 3-4 months of the season and that gives me hope.

Marotta said that our transfer market is over and that we won't buy anyone else. But we can hope Neddy will do something so we might buy someone in the end.
