Fellas:

Problem with Dzeko was the NON EU rule.

Bale very good player, will go to auction.

We need to be more creative in finding players in the market who cost less.

I believe in Marotta:xfinger:. in the summer we can get quality players who cost less. Real Madrid and City are typical teams that buy expensive and give away them on loans or for a low cost.

Bale will be very hard. half europe would want him, we should take Elia instead :numnum:

Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko is on the verge of joining Premier League side Manchester City, but FIFA agent Giacomo Petralito has revealed that the Bosnia-Herzegovina star would have joined Juventus if it weren't for Serie A regulations.

Italian clubs can only sign one non-EU player from abroad per season and Juventus have already done so with last August's capture of Milos Krasic. Therefore, Dzeko wouldn't be able to join the Vecchia Signora until next summer.

The prolific hitman no longer wanted to wait though and will now move to Manchester City instead, despite already having agreed terms with Juventus.

"Juventus could have signed Dzeko, but he didn't want to wait until June. The clubs had already reached an agreement that Dzeko would be allowed to move in January, but the absurd rules of the Italian FA prevented the move from happening," said Petralito to Tuttosport.

"Dzeko was really interested in moving to Italy, but unfortunately Italy doesn't like the idea of having world class players in Serie A. By having this absurd non-EU rule, Italy is only damaging its own league"

Load of rubbish. So, what? They just realized they couldn't sign another non-EU player all of a sudden? Yeah, okay.

ya i don't buy that either......it's not like june is 100years from now on....
if he really wanted to join us and we had a deal with wolfsburg and him than why did he not wait 6month?
and if we could afford him we can spend the money in june....it's not like he is the only striker in the world....
