Del Neri urges January signings
Gigi Del Neri is pleased with the victory in Sicily, but warns “this is why we need to complete the squad in January.”

Juventus consolidated third place with a 3-1 win at the Stadio Massimino this evening.

“The team did very well after the first 15 minutes in which Catania caused us problems,” said the Coach.

“We played good football and found our path to the goal. From then on, the match was on the right track for us.

“I will not look at the table, but I am satisfied with this result, the character and the quality. Don’t forget Catania hadn’t lost at home in a year.”

Del Neri did warn that Juve can only sustain this pace for so long amid an injury crisis.

“We are still missing so many players and this is why we need to complete the squad in January, so that we won’t be left without options if there are injuries.

“Alberto Aquilani is going through a tough time, but we knew that would happen, as up until now he has given a lot to the side. Clearly a player cannot be 100 per cent all the time.”

I don't think so. Dzeko is in June :p and Rakitic ain't a big signing. Just a good addition to the squad.

    January needs:

    keeper? no
fullbacks: Traoré, DC(will be back right?), Sorensen, Grygera and that other guy.
    CB's?: no
mids? Rakitic? can cover left flank and play for the rested/injured Aquilani.
Forward?: a loan + option to buy for next year's Dzeko backup.

pazzini isn't bad but he would def. rule out dzeko and co... we won't buy him for around 20mil (?) and than another striker for 30 mil in the summer....
the 4 strikers we have should be enough for serie a only....than sell amauri iaquinta in the summer and make us a big signing

We need fullbacks. It seems like every game they fuck us somehow. Motta heading in his own net, Grosso passing to the other team in the box. And they're all shit offensively.
