Well that would make him the most expensive Latvian player in history of football and he clearly ain't the most talented one. I'd love to have him in Juve as a back-up, but I highly doubt he's worth more than ~3 millions if we're talking in euros, Lech is surely asking too much for him, that's not the kind of money you pay for Polish league players.

Do we have any reason not to go after Cassano especially with him being for free and us playing a 4-4-2? If they feel bad about taking Sampdoria's player for free then they should just give them a player for free like Lanzafame or Grosso. Cassano would make life so much easier for Dzeko or any other goalscorer we're trying to get. Cassano made Pazzini look amazing and he would do magic with any other striker whether its Dzeko, Gilardino or Adebayor. I would be very worried if we only got Dzeko and played him next to Iaquinta or Quag.
