You got that from Marotta's interview? Cos to me he was just saying a lot of bullshit and not answering the questions that were being asked.
He said last week or something they'll make a decision after Parma-game. I am 100% sure Delneri will be shown the way out. I was unconvinced until last weeks 2-2 against Chievo and now a loss to Parma, but now I am sure.

Marotta just want to ease the situation till after the Napoli-game. Delneri will be asked to resign or be fired. Andrea Agnelli hoping for the first option.

We cant get him. He's off to Chelsea. I was just sharing my Fifa manager mode backline with ya'll :p

Chelsea want him too, he said it isnt sure and all. But for 15 million I'm pretty sure Ajax would have him on the next plain to Turin.

this is my reading of it. if Del Neri had somehow managed to fluke CL qualification or even gotten close and settled for EL he might be able to justify his position and clung on with a board reluctant to fire a man who had reached his stated objectives.
however, since he has failed in his objective(CL qualification) and missed out on the secondary objective(EL football) the board can force his hand and explain that he has actually taken the club backwards and as suce they have no faith in his ability to lead the club. Del Neri will be forced to resign and a statement proclaiming "mutual consent" will be released.

Every week on TV you got a guy imitating DN and having a good laugh at our expense. Then you have papers linking us to great names and they probably know we'll end up with Pazienzas and old guys like Pirlo. Very depressing stuff.

Forza this indeed. I also believed that the "not losing in 6 games (but drawing 4 of them) and a few points off CL qualification + EL would give him another year, but the poor guy couldn't even grab the little chance he had to stay. Only thing worriying me is his stubornesss and unwillingness to resign. I hope the fact that Marotta is his good pal makes him resign instead of us paying his wages for another year.

It's not like anyone would hire him.

you do know forza means common, which makes your first line gramatically incorrect :p
