On the upside, they know the new stadium needs Del Piero, Chiellini and Buffon. Pretty sure they'll stay. Melo might not however. Also I don't see both Benz and Tevez coming either, obviously enough.
Del Piero and Buffon, yes. They need to stay

Chiellini, not so much.

There are defenders of his level that can be had for a good fee. Especially if Real Madrid are so hard up for him. They will gladly pay over market value for him

Getting rid of Chiellini is not an option. He's still one of the best CB's in Italy and I don't want to replace him with someone like Ranocchia or Bocchetti. The defense would automatically become a bottom-half back line, which it probably already is anyway, so selling him (unless for something like 50M) would be insanity.

With the state that this squad is in, getting rid of anyone with the exception of DelPiero and Buffon is an option.

Benzema could be a major flop, too. Something about the dude I don't trust, probably how Jose doesn't seem to rate him. That sounds alarm bells.
I agree, but what concerned me was how overweight he looked at times this season.

Doesn't exactly suggest a professional lifestyle or a willingness to work hard in training.

I'd still take him, if the price was right.
