Andreas Beck virtually a done deal. Yesterday on german television Hoffenheim DS spoke about a "solid offer" (which means: we'd like to get more, but we're fine with that) from us. They also said, they don't want to put obstacles in Beck's way, which is exactly the same they said about L. Gustavo, while Beck said a few days ago, that he's questioning Hoffenheim's strategy. So, if there won't arrive an offer Hoffenheim and Beck like more in the next days (Hoffenheim hav set an ultimatum) he's pretty much ours.

Most importantly, how good is he?
I've read here the suggestion, he's Hoffenheim captain so he must be somewhat of a leader an a strong personality. Actually, it's the opposite. People in Hoffenheim are moaning, that this role doesn't suit him at all. I have a bad feeling, he's going to be the next M. Motta. But let's judge when he arrives and playes a few matches.

30MEuro is his price (at least, according to the rumours in Belgium)
But, is that his price or his clause? Prices are almost always negotiable. I think someone will get him for 20/25M + bonus.

Look at Di Maria, for example. Benfica said many times that he'd only leave for 40M and he ended up leaving for ~30M. Quaresma too, David Luiz...

I'd take Hazard for 30M, anyway.

I have the same feeling, sadly. An expensive Marco Motta.
