It's newspaper BS.

Elkann and Exor could give the club €1 billion and it wouldn't make any difference, because of the FFP rules, you can't use that money on tranfers anyway.
The point is that this rule only applies to teams who are playing in CL or Europa League. CL is out of the question this year anyway and Juventus does not care about Europa League, so it basically Juventus could spent all 1 billion :)

Wrong.

The point is, that if we overspend and break the break-even rule, then we'll get punished, which could mean that we won't be able to play european football in the future. And if that happens, the players you bought for the supposed €1billion, will be long gone anyway.

It's embarrassing reading news reports on Juve transfer rumours - nearly all of them refer to Juve being "Reluctant to meet the transfer fee" - they want world class at mediocre prices

i dont want aquilani for that price...has not shown on a consistent basis that spending that kinda money on him is warranted. sure we can find a player for that same price that we can get better returns. all bout opportunity cost.

British media: Liverpool are not willing to negotiate on the figure they have set for Aquilani. It's either €16m or nothing.
I dont want Aquilani here , but when i think Montolivo :inter: , aquaman better stay here .

We should go for Inler :D since Sahin is gone , also Beanega would be nice :D

The problem isn't right now if we overspend, it's the comming years the problems will surface.

Lets say we buy players for €100M. Those players gets 4 year contracts. That will have a negative effect of our finances of €25M every year for those 4 years. On top of that, there is all the other players we're still paying for. That combined will mean we won't be able to reach UEFA's break-even rule in the future, and then we won't be able to play in europe.
